I had a wonderful stay and booked more nights after arriving. Very helpful and competent staff, lovely owner. They really thought about everything, bikes, maps, torch lights, basic medicine cabinet, washing machine, dryer, everything you need to cook a meal, variety of tea and coffee, blender, toaster. Nice size room and bathroom, colorful garden and pool (small but definitely enough for 2 people. Lots of sun in the garden. If you dont like to sleep with an air conditioner, use an air conditioner and a very efficient fan. You can get anywhere with bikes. The only downside is that there are frequent and long prey from the mosque starting at 4.45. That you can hear a little. The isolation is not bad and its far away, but the mosque speakers are very loud. Cant imagine staying somewhere close if you sleep lightly.

This cottage is excellent. Room is very clean like Japanese high-class hotel. The shower is fresh water, Restroom is located inside, Kitchen and wash machine are fully equipped and located enough space, Food was cheap but tasty... There is no end to write good point!! And, The staffs are very very good. She told us a lot of things to enjoy the Gili trawangan with fully smile(eg. good restaurant, market, snorkel spot, sunset point). Thanks to her it was a wonderful trip. We enjoyed to stay gili trawangan. Thank you so much. We'll visit again.

Santan Gili completely exceeded our expectations! My partner and I stayed at Santan for 6 nights on gili trawangan and absolutely loved it! On arrival, we were greeted with delicious welcome drinks and the friendliest staff. One man in particular, Rol, was incredible and took the time to show us to our villa and explain how everything worked. He even helped us have our own coconut coal bbq one night and grabbed all the food from the market for us! The villa was super clean and tidy, was refreshed every day and the bed had the most beautiful flower arrangement set out. We also found the amenities in the bathroom especially handy (nice soaps, hairdryer, slippers, bathroom cupboard with medicines should you need any). There were two clean, good quality bikes ready to go for us which was so handy. We also loved our own outdoor area and outdoor kitchen which was stocked with everything you would need, including heaps of cheap drinks and snacks to purchase. Our private pool was awesome and really clean. The villa is a 5 minute bike ride (15 min walk) from the main strip of the island, but we loved being a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of it all. Its also in a good location to duck to the sunset (north) side of the island too by cutting through the middle. We will definitely be back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Santan Gili to our friends and family!

There are many villas in the row with a pool and kitchenette and a nice garden. The location was good for me as it was a bit away from the center and the place was not busy. The island is small and free bikes are provided. It takes a while to get there with luggage from the port as i walk and dont want to use horses. The street is so small it doesnt even show up on application maps so it might take you to the parallel street.

Salah satu akomodasi terbaik di Indonesia! Pondok teratas dengan jacuzzi kecil pribadi, sepeda tersedia, dan layanan yang sangat profesional, selalu siap membantu. Jangan tertipu oleh lingkungan hotel yang agak "desaan", hotel itu sendiri sangat baru. Harganya agak tinggi, tetapi tingkat layanan mengkonfirmasinya. (Diakses pada Oktober 2016)

What a delightful, tidy, serene, and stunning place to stay! The garden is immaculately maintained. After a day of exploring or snorkeling, staying in their private, spacious cottage makes for a truly restful stay. Did i even mention the pool? Its wonderful!.

I spent four nights at this villa, and it was truly amazing and relaxing. The guys at the villa, ami and yudi, were extremely friendly and always helpful. Very quiet, in a good location (5 minutes by bike to the main street. I will definitely return to gili t island and would like to stay at this villa again. Thank you, friends! Happy bday!.

I stayed there for 6 nights in december. Decent place for relaxing. You can really relax and feel calm. There is an outdoor kitchen with a few utensils, but enough to make your own breakfast. Laundry machine is also helpful. Nearby there is a small grocery store and restaurant in a nearby guesthouse. On the downside the quality of the bed mattress could have been better. I wish it was possible to come back.

I spent a week at santan gili cottages here. The pool and backyard are fantastic, and the rooms are quite large! The ambiance is quite serene, but the drawback is that it is a little far from everything. Additionally, at midnight, the staff called me to offer me drugs when i just wanted to unwind.

We highly recommend Santa Gil! If you want the ideal lodging in Trawangan, Santa Gil Cottages is more than you would think. First of all, the cottages are the best option for those who want to relax and enjoy their vacation in solitude and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is about a minute away, like the resort offers you freedom on the main road. Every cottage has a private large pool with warm water that is surrounded by plants, a fullyequipped kitchen, and a laundry area. It is extremely useful when you are away on holiday. What a friendly staff, always willing to help you for all your needs! Breakfast is delicious, with a wide variety of choicespankakes, toasted bread with homemade jams, eggs, fresh fruit salads, etc. They bring it to your room! Well, when we stayed there for one week at Christmas, it was such a beautiful experience with all of them!

We will definitely recommend a stay here! We enjoyed a wonderful 4 night stay at Santa Gil. The villa we stayed in was huge, had its own outdoor jacuzzi, and also provided bikes for us to cycle around the island. The staff was great as well. We had an issue with some of the construction noise going around the area, and hair, one of the staff, immediately took the initiative to switch our villa for us and to check on the noise. The location is slightly out of the main area, about a 10 minute bike ride to the main shops, and relatively easy to get to. A word of advice: do not follow Google Maps as the roads there seem to have not been updated. The friendly staff there will be able to give you easy directions to the villa. The villas were also immaculate, had its own private kitchen, laundry, porch, jacuzzi, sun loungers, and so much more.

The employees at santan are courteous, considerate, and welcoming. Our every need was met with a smile. The breakfast that is delivered to your room is delicious and reasonably priced. The room is so large that it could comfortably accommodate another bed. Although we went out every day, it is fully furnished and selfcontained. Everything you could possibly need is available, including an iron and a kettle. While you are out of the room, the staff will even do your washing for you. The bikes you are given are among the most beautiful on the island. They also have your cottage name on them, making them easy to spot a lookalike. The bathroom is spacious and lovely. Our room had two air conditioners. Although it was necessary to use both due to the high ceilings, the temperature was always very comfortable. The pool is perfect for a dip in the evening or, if you bring an umbrella, a relaxing drink. The mini bar is reasonably priced. The location is still under development. The angle grinders and hammers from 8 am to 2 pm were a nightmare trying to sleep after a long night out. There is a mosque nearby, and like all other hotels on the island, a speakerphone is played over a tower. On saturday morning, we were both awakened. Though we slept through it after a few days. The wifi connection is poor. You must go outside to connect, and it would crash a lot of mosquitoes on the island. There is no chance of streaming a movie if you stay overnight. This rating, however, is a reflection of the experience a couple looking to stay in the room or have a romantic and private experience. Our experience was hamstrung by the location and noise early in the morning because we were very young and wanted to explore the nightlife. If you are thinking about coming to gili trawangan, we highly recommend it. The atmosphere is fantastic, and everyone on the island is friendly and relaxed. In our few days on the island, we, an australian couple aged 20 and 25, made friends with new zealand, russets, and scots.
