The staff were amazing and lovely, they were always so happy to help and very attentative. The rooms were unique and very natural, we loved the open air bathroom. We had a frog living in the bathroon, a few cute geckos running up and down the walls and we loved it. The landscape was beautiful with lots of lovely trees, plants and statues. The pools were great. The resort is small so has limited rooms, which meant it was lovely and quiet and peaceful. The food was very tasty and the staff were so good, at times they even kept my grandkids busy so we could eat. We celebrated my hubbys 50th and my neices 21st and the staff had a caje for each and sung Happy Birthday. Our holiday was made better by the staff, and the resort was a lovely, and relaxing place to stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at sungu Resort and Spa I will definitely stay there again. The food was always delicious, fresh, beautifully prepared and served. Being surrounded by the beautiful gardens on the property, you don't realize how close to Ubud markets and shops, but far enough away for it to feel quiet and secluded. I came away feeling relaxed and rejuvenated all thanks to the wonderful staff.

very beautiful resort, only 10-15 minutes walk from ubud central. only had one issue which was lizards, sometimes they were able to sneak into our villa, but that's really not their fault as ubud is located in a rain forest lol, I'm very afraid of lizards and the stuff was soo kind that they moved us in a more fully enclosed modern villa which was their top of the range with no extra charges. the resort itself its located in a very cute location surrounded by the forest and many picturesque views. I really recommend for anyone planning to stay in ubud to go and check it out.

The room is spacious and staff were lovely. The rooms are a little “rustic”, with frogs, geckos and mozzies all sharing the space. But maybe that’s part of the Bali charm.

The staff is friendly, the room is clean, and the pool is nice. The outdoor bathroom is great, but it is also open to ants, lizards, beetles, mosquitoes, and anything else that feels like checking out your shower. The downside is that there are no water coolers or jugs to refill bottles on site. They provide two small water bottles a day, which is quite wasteful. Hopefully, they will set up coolers and jugs in the future!.

Suasana hotel yang tenang. Tempat yang sempurna untuk beristirahat setelah seharian bertamasya. Kamar-kamarnya adalah vila individu yang sangat luas, beberapa di antaranya memiliki kolam renang pribadi. Jika saya mengunjungi Bali lagi, saya tidak akan ragu untuk kembali ke akomodasi ini.

Jättefint, mindre hotell med fantastisk personal. Mycket fräscha rum med badrum utomhus. Vi köpte till två dagar med guidad tur från en på hotell, och det var fantastiskt. Risfält, vattenfall, mindre byar på landsbygden och en helt annan sida av Ubud än vi skulle sett annars. Rekommenderas starkt!

Resort was just amazing, felt like we were at home and was very welcomed. The stuff were very helpful and so friendly. Would 100% recommend this location was everything is so close to the resort and is very affordable. Wifi had noooo issues which was a surprise worked everyday.
