We have enjoyed our stay at Christian's place. He gave us many information on the area and things to do. The guesthouse is so gorgeous that you can stay here for hours just to admire nature. It was also possible to rent a motorbike which was fantastic as we could see many places in this way.

The tour bus driver, Willie, picked us up from the airport and drove us on the journey of the Balinese roads and the way the locals drove is our first time in Bali, so this was a show ride experience! Daniel was up late to welcome us into his house. Daniels artwork is displayed in a residence with plenty of light and space. It has the feel of being in a frida kilo residence. The infinity pool was spotless, the yard was well-kept, and the view was spectacular. The images do not do it justice. You can walk to Bud in approximately 30 minutes with wonderful views, but go early to avoid the heat. Willie is eager to go anywhere and is very kind. Breakfast was provided on the first day only. The main bedroom is air conditioned, but the rest is not, so if you feel the heat, this house may not be the right fit. There is a fan in the living room which helps. You do get a cool breeze across the mountains as you leave the main town. Daniel is easy to talk to, and since this was our first visit to Bali, he was a good source of information for our curious minds to learn about the Balinese culture and way of life. We highly recommend this villa. Our stay here was a pleasure. The villa was in a fantastic position and it had a good view. The owner is a wonderful, helpful employee. We had already checked out of the villa by the time our daughter arrived. Dan was willing to let us all spend another night for free. The only thing I regret is that we didn't stay longer.

Last August 2014, I stayed here with friends for a week with Daniel and Sri running this beautiful mountainside property. It was an unbearable experience! I have visited Bali three times before and have stayed three weeks each time. My wife is Balinese and has choices that most vacationers do not have. One of those options is the ability to travel safely and comfortably at a reasonable price. The space could accommodate four people. This place has plenty of bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a fantastic pool. It's a large house with beautiful gardens throughout the grounds.

I spent a day working in a dynamic media company in Bali and this villa was the perfect escape after a long day. The setting is near buds, a place of nature paradise. Daniel, the proprietor, an American born with a Balinese wife, was a kind, personable host who was attentive to every detail and made me feel like family. The house was brand-new and cozy, had a perfect air conditioner and ceiling fans, and had amazingly large windows giving me the impression of being in a garden with the trees.
