Embora o quarto fosse um pouco pequeno, o hotel é um charme. Achamos a localização boa, bem perto de cidades como Montalcino e Montepulciano. Fora o centro Pienza que é bem pertinho e muito charmoso. O hotel é muito silencioso e com paisagens lindíssimas da Toscana. Café da manhã bem servido, com muitas opções.

We had a wonderful two-night stay and everything was perfect. Chris is an exceptional host who made us feel truly welcome. The location is ideal, very close to Pienza, the rooms are spotless, and everything is extremely well organized. Breakfast was delicious, and Chris gave us excellent tips about the area. Highly recommended!

Parenthèse reposante dans ce logement idéalement situé dans un écrin de verdure à quelques pas de Pienza. Chambre et salle de bain spacieuses, décorées avec goût et d’une propreté irréprochable, offrant confort et tout le nécessaire : literie très confortable et calme plat. Petit déjeuner correct, copieux et varié. Il est très agréable de passer des heures à se prélasser au soleil au bord de la piscine qui offre une vue sur la nature environnante. Nous avons passés un séjour de 2 nuits merveilleux et regrettons seulement de ne pas avoir pu y rester d’avantage !!

A equipe é muito atenciosa, o quarto que ficamos era na torre e bem confortável. O café da manhã era bom, nada de excepcional. O hotel tem uma trilha que dá na cidade, o que facilita a caminhada a pé. E para os adoradores do Gladiador, é muito próximo ao local ode foi gravado o filme.

Absolutely loved our stay at A440. Stunning views and the proximity to the Pienza made walking to town very convenient and given the limited dining options on site great for lunch and dinner. The included breakfast was great. Staff were helpful and communicated well ahead of our arrival. Note that checking in after 7pm requires planning so make sure to keep that in mind. The road up to the property is a little bumpy but totally manageable, other reviews made it seem like it would be a bigger issue than it really was. Overall the property is truly special with exceptional views and a lovely pool and gardens. Would recommend staying in the annex for added privacy and view of the valley.

Quiet property outside of town. Easy walking trail to town. Very friendly staff and helpful finding us activities and restaurants. Good breakfast. Beautiful views of the valley and a nice escape from the bigger towns.

This location inspires me to stay here! We adored this spot right away from the moment we rolled up the dreadful street youve probably already read about in other reviews. It is calm and off the beaten path yet close enough to walk to the center of pizza in around 10 minutes. The pool area is unlike any pool area Ive ever seen. Dining in the outdoor space near the restaurant while the sun sets over the valley. Waking up with a view through the glass door annex room looking out over the valley as the sun colors it with its morning orange tint. It's a plus to have clearly labeled vegan options on the menu. Both the burger and the ancient grain pasta dishes were excellent. Impeccable service Oh, the only thing was that there was no plant-based milk for coffee and cereals at breakfast. We didn't really see the function of the huge social spacelounge in the main building, but I'm guessing families might reserve multiple rooms and then simply hang out there to socialize. Wifi is inoperable. But, I don't mind. I'd rather just stare at the views and perhaps get a little bored. That's the zen atmosphere one will get from visiting a 440. Ill be back. Thats for sure.

We arrived from Rome from the airport and on arrival, I thought what the hell will happen when we get back to the city. But there is a short way that requires you to walk for 10 minutes with a steep one-step climb. The 440 is no exception, and I have no complaints about it. Our room was a far from the reception area, it was spacious and peaceful. Large bathroom, nice bed. Absolutely, I will come back. Thank you.

Ive been hoping to write this review for a while. During our honeymoon in early July 2018, my husband and I stayed here for 4 days and had the best time. This was perfect for us. The location is stunning you can't get a nicer view, especially from the Biopool. Everything at 440 was carefully planned and maintained. The gardens are breathtaking. There were so many butterflies flitting around the garden paths all day during our visit. It was truly magical. We really enjoyed the position just outside the pizza walls. It is 1015 mins walk away? On a lovely forested pathway to the main square. To get to the main square, its a short walk of 1015 minutes. Bring a flashlight for dinner. We are world travelers, and this is one of my favorite places I have ever stayed. Thanks to the wonderful employees there!.

We highly recommend this place, and we stayed here. The place is located on the edge of pizza. The cleanliness is good, and the staff is polite and attentive to our needs. The swimming pool area is also nice with a breathtaking view of the valleys.

A 440 is a great hideaway on the outskirts of pizza. You will reach the village by a 10 minute walk. The hotel offers lovely modern rooms with air conditioning, a pool with a breathtaking view of the Tuscan hills, and a terrace where you can have lunch or breakfast. I heartily recommend this place.
