Hotel was very nice. We had air conditioning during the "heat wave" which was wonderful. Would definitely stay there again. Only one host was a little curt and didn't seem to have time to help; all others were wonderful. One young man, Michael I believe his name was, was exceptional...a great asset to the hotel.

My family loved Antica Torre. Check-in was a breeze, and the room was spacious, well-appointed, and flooded with A/C. It was a needed respite from the heat dome outside! The apertivos on the rooftop are a must, as the view is worth the stay. We also enjoyed the breakfast and the view from the breakfast area, too. The hotel is located near the Arno River and within walking distance of several landmarks. Easily walkable for me and my family. I would definitely recommend for a wonderful stay in Florence.

The location cannot be beat imo. The rooms are super comfy and spacious. My friend had a room with an incredible bridge river view. Just a wow. My room had a soaking tub which was great. The elevators are tiny and slow and the stairs are the kind that leave you breathless but such a small quibble. Staff is exceptional : helpful, smiley, efficient. Breakfast up on the top floor with outside terrace is A+. A wonderful option for a stay in Florence.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Antica Torre Tornabuoni in Florence. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel warmly welcomed, providing exceptional service and attention to detail. The property itself is charming and beautifully maintained, perfectly blending historical character with modern comfort. Our room was comfortable and elegantly decorated, offering a peaceful retreat after exploring the many attractions of Florence. The location is ideal — central yet quiet — allowing easy access to the city’s cultural sites, museums, and dining options. We particularly appreciated the staff’s friendliness and professionalism; they were always ready to offer helpful suggestions and ensured that our stay was seamless and enjoyable. Every little touch made our experience memorable, and it’s clear that the team truly cares about their guests’ satisfaction. We will fondly remember our time at Antica Torre Tornabuoni and hope to return on our next visit to Florence. We highly recommend this beautiful property to anyone seeking an authentic and comfortable Florentine experience. Adan & the Dining Staff were awesome! As well as all the Staff at the reception dept., esp Gabriel

Our room, with its spectacular view of the Arno, was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and spacious. There were chairs to sit by the windows - which opened so we could get a sense of the temperature outside and let the evening breeze in. It was quiet, the bed comfortable, the marble bathroom spacious. We asked for a coffee maker in the room and the helpful staff promptly brought a Nespresso machine. Breakfast on the terrace, with its own spectacular views, was delightful. The upper roof terraces were a delightful spot for a coffee or a drink. The location is ideal for exploring Florence on foot and the entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and always ready to be helpful. We will return!

Location just doesn’t get better in Florence. Ancient walls, many rooms overlook Arno river, other rooms look at the old city center and the main cathedral. Management consists of just a few hard working and efficient people who are trying their very best to keep all guests satisfied. Clean rooms, regular and thorough cleaning. The view from the rooftop bar/restaurant is probably the best in town. A word of caution: rooms differ dramatically! We strongly recommend paying more for a bigger river view room. Our original room was nice but small, overlooking the famous De Fiore Cathedral. Unfortunately, the bathroom had such an unbearable odor that we could barely use it. The odor started to spread to the room. We went down to explain our unpleasant situation. The management did everything to help. We ended up in a beautiful room looking at the river. What a difference! So go for it, but make sure to book a room with a river view. Our excellent room was #61.

The absolute best part of our stay is the hotel had umbrellas for us to use. Blazing heat and rain, this small but unique feature made our whole stay so much more enjoyable.
