Very clean rooms. The staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast is offered for 15 Euros and had a good selection. Great location, within walking distance of many piazzas and historical sites.

We had a very lovely 3-night stay at Augustana House April 18-21. The receptionist was fantastic and showed us two rooms to choose from, one having a balcony that overlooked the river. Although the street adjacent to the river is noisy with traffic you could not hear it when the balcony door was closed. The balcony was a nice feature for the room. I requested ice for my drink in the evening and this was provided to me and the next day when reception was not available they left me ice in the fridge. This goes a long way in my opinion and it was greatly appreciated. The hotel was centrally located and the receptionist showed us the main attractions on a map of the city, which we had already planned out. One the day of departure the receptionist called us a taxi for the train station and it arrived promptly. The bed was comfortable and amenities in the room good. A bonus was the mini-fridge for our evening drinks. Overall, a fantastic stay and we’d recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rome!

The room was extremely clean, the staff were tremendously helpful, kind and courteous, the breakfast was fresh with a good choice of foods, the air conditioning was essential and greatly appreciated.

Staff are excellent and very helpful - lovely people. Hotel is next to the Tiber and around 10-15 mins walk from nearest metro so not too bad and the area is upmarket so no problem. Only weakness was the breakfast which was a bit generic and limited in the breakfast room. I think they need a wider spread. Apart from that very nice place to stay.

Very nice river view from our room. Close to everything. Around 25 mins to the Vatican, around 15 mins to pantheon and closer to Spanish steps and trevi of fountain-walking. Close to a lot of restaurants as well. Staff are wonderful and helpful! We enjoyed our stay here.

Loved the hotel. The location is across from the Tiber River, very close to a walking bridge into Vatican City. The room was great, breakfast was fine, everything except no eggs, but lovely bakery products and yogurt. The staff were all wonderful. One of our favourite hotels ever.

Ett litet hotel som verkligen låg strategiskt vid Tibern. Allt är inom en kvarts promenadavstånd. Vi blev lite osäkra när vi steg ur taxin sent på kvällen. Är vi rätt? Själva hotel-entrén låg längre inne byggnaden. Vi möttes av personlig service, leenden och varma ögon. Vi tyckte om vårt rum som hade en förhall med soffa och bra plats gör förvaring. Men bäst av allt var balkongen. Den nyttjade vi mycket och satt gärna ute om kvällarna när vi kom hem trötta av upplevelser och många steg. Den livliga trafiken utanför hördes inte i vårt rum. I området runt hotellet finns många resturanger. Vi hittade vår favorit Taverna Ripotta som blev både en stor matupplevelse och nästan som en teaterföreställning. Frukosten på Augustana House räckte gott och väl. Äggröran var god.

I can't say enough for Augustana House! It was outstanding--from the staff (welcoming, friendly, most helpful), to the location (a 15-20 minute walk from many/most attractions and away from the crowds), to the cleanliness, condition and comfort of the room (the bed and shower were excellent and the bedding and towels were upscale). The breakfast buffet was very good with eggs, cereal, breads, meats and cheeses, fruit and various pasteries. This was the best hotel I've had in Rome when on a personal trip and it's a very good value. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
