We absolutely loved our stay here. The location and room was exquisite. All staff were very friendly and helpful. A most gorgeous location for breakfast where Stefania served us delicious cappuccino. Joel, on reception, was most helpful. We will come back.

We are so glad we stayed at Castello di Gabiano. The property grounds are wonderful to roam around to all the different areas, including a labyrinth. The room was very clean, updated and comfortable. Check-in was so friendly and helpful too. We had breakfast and dinner at the on-site restaurant, which was also terrific. So exciting to be so close and image the history of the castle!

Tired of binge watching historic series on Netflix? Love Game of Thrones, The Medicis, Reign, or are just a huge history buff wanting to have the real life experience? Get off the couch and explore Castello Di Gabiano in the Piedmont region of Italy. This majestic structure sits proudly as the crown jewel atop a mountain, today as she has for centuries, dating back to the year 1000. What history may have forgotten, she has not. Drenched in old world charm Castello Di Gabiano is enchanting with a manicured labyrinth garden, private pool and grounds, ivy spilling over ancient brick walls and picturesque views of endless vineyards and gentle valleys below. Several buildings have been restored to offer rustic yet lovely apartments and suites. The staff are extremely gracious, friendly and accommodating. The wines Gabiano produces are deliciously crafted. An assortment of reds, whites and flavorful blends are available. They also produce a delicious prosecco. With an extensive wine menu there is surly something for every palette making a wine tasting worthwhile. During our stay a portion of the grounds were under renovation. We were informed the facility will soon include the addition of a second pool with spa amenities such as massage and other luxury services offering a more relaxing, retreat style experience. Knights in shining armor and beautiful maidens alike will enjoy experiencing the enchanting old world of yesteryear at Castello Di Gabiano in the piedmont region.

This place is very recommended. This is not long enough to find this beautiful place. Until now I will come back to relax and enjoy the week end here. There's a low season, and we were the only hosts, but we get full service and a warm and friendly welcome. The atmosphere is also very relaxing.

The hotel provided a great variety of cakes at brunch, but the environment was a bit difficult with the coupd measures. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. There is a sign for the castle between two entry routes, and it is unclear which is the correct one. In conclusion, we chose the wrong one and ended in the wrong location. After this initial confusion, we arrived at the reception only to have to wait 17 minutes before anyone arrived, while unsolicited phone calls went through the phone and mobile at the desk. The pleasant woman who welcomed us finally came from where it seemed to be best to not arrive when the wine tour was only finishing, which is where the nice lady who greeted us. Even though our room's wifi was awful, the accommodations are tastefully decorated and as cozy as one might anticipate for an ancient stone house. The beds were comfy. We were eager to soak up the tranquility of the pool, but we were shocked to discover that it was actually a part of the castle grounds and that members of the public were taking pictures of them.

Would unquestionably return to this location. This is a stunning location. We stayed in an apartment that had two bedrooms, two baths, and two fireplaces with plenty of wood to burn, which was wonderful because it really enhanced the ambiance. You actually reside on the castle complex because this is located on the top of a hill in Fabian. A wine tasting and tour were included, which was very entertaining, and we also enjoyed the wines. It is lovely to stroll around the property, and a wine tasting and tour were included, which was excellent. The breakfast room was lovely, with a beautiful panorama of the rolling hills and vineyards, numerous options, and everyone was incredibly welcoming. I liked that there were many channels with English-speaking channels and good internet. The only drawback I can see is that the power outlets next to the bed shut off when you turn the lights out. Staying here requires some planning since it is remote, so you are not close to restaurants, and the nearby restaurants are not open every day, and the hours are very limited.

We stayed in the Castillo do Fabian for two nights in a large suite named 3 Urology, which is located in the haunting house of the privately owned castle. The suite was equipped with a small kitchen corner, a separate bedroom, and a bathroom with a large shower. The suite was furnished with beautiful furniture with attention to detail. The restaurant reservation recommended is open at the weekend, and usually offers 3 or 5 course menus. The food is excellent, and most of the vegetables are from their own little garden. The typical food from the region itself is accompanied by their own wines, which are directly made in the cave, a pool area, a large park with a labyrinth, and a spa area. Both a little wine tasting cost extra and the ancient wine cellars can be visited. This location is perfect for a brief stay in the piedmont because many places are nearby, including Anti, Alba, barely, etc. Even turin is reached by car in about an hour. Highly commendable for couples looking for a romantic place, wine lovers, and people looking for a special place.

The suites are right next to the castle and decorated with lots of taste. The restaurant is delicious with varied menus of 3 to 5 courses. And the view from the swimming pool is unreal. All the staff is beautiful and so professional. Everything is flexible and easy. We can only recommend this place that totally disconnects you from reality. Thank you to the whole team. We will return.

Beautiful romantic rooms. There really wasn't much to exploring the grounds. The on site restaurant is nice, but I thought the inexpensive ingredients elevated to gourmet standards just didn't work for me.
