Scary road to property. Almost got hit by driver coming towards us-she was driving across the center of road tooo fast. Both ways to get to property are small narrow winding road. Small cars probably ok. Big cars not for the faint of heart. But once you get there beautiful room .has washing machine (no dryer). Totally quiet peaceful spot

If your looking for something just outside Florence, for exploring this is a magical place, you can chill by the pool, wander the grounds and watch the local wildlife. Florence is a tram ride away. I would recommend a car as it is just that bit far out and taxis can work out expensive.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay at Fattoria il Milione. The location strikes a perfect balance – offering a peaceful rural retreat while remaining conveniently accessible to Florence. The staff was exceptional, providing attentive and friendly service throughout our stay. The spacious rustic apartment exceeded our expectations, offering a charming and comfortable ambiance. This was a refreshing departure from the typical city hotels we encountered during our Italy road trip. For those seeking tranquility and an escape from the urban commotion, we wholeheartedly recommend Fattoria il Milione. Our time here was truly enjoyable, allowing us to unwind amidst serene surroundings, away from the usual city hustle and bustle.

Also lots of beautiful little streets around with shops and restaurants. Boat to Portofino is close 3 min walk . Love this town Rapallo and hotel

This place is really old and very interesting, it’s up in the hills around Florence in a beautiful area. Just the drive up the winding hills through such an historic and upscale area was worth the price. It just has an ‘old Italian villa’ feel to it. It was one of the neatest places I’ve ever stayed because of that. Our stay was very relaxing and the pool was great! The rooms are as you would expect of such an old place like staying in a castle or something. Not modern, but classy and rustic.This place isn’t like a modern hotel. It’s almost 500 years old and has just the charm of that. My daughter and I loved it. I read some complaints in its reviews, but I think that the people complaining are more the kind of folks that prefer McDonald’s to a 400 year old restaurant, or a stay at the Hilton to a stay in a grand old Italian villa. You could feel the history there. I guess it depends what you like. The price was very reasonable for what I feel I experienced and would love to go back, it was perfect for my tastes.
