Great stay, fantastic location, safe and clean. Great communication. Wi-fi is spotty if you need to work (it’s ok for vacations) and the shower is on a small side.

The owner was accommodating to meet our needs for late check in and a very early check out, making the process very easy and hassle-free.The property location was right in the middle of the historic area within walking distance to the major landmarks. The room was clean and very pretty. All of the basic essentials for a stress-free short stay were readily available. We really enjoyed our stay in Rome at Calamatta Guest House.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I showed for my reservation nearly an hour after reception was supposed to close and the staff waited to make sure we got settled in. Great service and location!

We really enjoyed our stay, it felt like we were staying at a loved one’s house. The property was clean, the staff absolutely amazing and welcoming. It was well located, and we were able to do most things walking. We’d stay there again for sure!

We were welcomed by Pamela who was very friendly and showed us how to get to various places around Rome. She gave us a map and told us bus routes and how long walking would take. She was very knowledgeable. She let us know about the summer events down by the river with music, shopping, food… The room was clean with a little coffee station, plenty of towels and the AC was amazing!! Calmara BB is in an excellent central location, yet down a quiet street.

The room was very nice and the hotel itself is in a prime location to visit the countless sites located in Rome. Pamela was so helpful and I would suggest asking her for food recommendations as we got around to three of hers and were pleased with them all!

Our stay was excellent . Very friendly and helpful staff. I made an error with my check in date but luckily we were accommodated. Daniella and Pamela were awesome!!! They helped us make our stay very comfortable. Thank you ladies! The rooms were big and comfortable and very clean ! Bathroom is a comfortable size. There is a rooftop terrace you can hang out and have wine. The amenities were well thought of to make your stay comfortable. Close to everything ... restaurants, cafes, public transformation very accessible.
