Old, very old and beautiful property. Furnishings and accoutrements reminiscent of olden days. Hotel very clean and beds extremely comfortable! Extra pillows a nice touch. Staff, and in particular, Cecelia was amazing!! Really made the trio more eventfull by recomending excellent restaurants and esotecas to purchase and ship wine. We highly recomend!!

Our stay at this Bed & Breakfast was truly enchanting. Our hosts made us feel completely at home in their house, the dinner we had in their home restaurant was the best we’ve had in Italy and they went out of their way to show us traditional Montalcinese ways.

I'd return here. When I arrived at the hotel, the housekeeper saw me and called the main lady right away to assist me. The owner was lovely, speaks fluent English, and updated my room. My room was clean, and the restroom was updated. There is no to, which was nice because I wanted some peace and quiet to read and just enjoy the area. Wifi works perfectly. The castle is close to the hotel, and the main shops and eateries in the historic center are close by. Parking is outside of the walls, and you must be prepared to enter. Like many hill towns in this region, parking is outside of the walls, so roller bags are not advised. Hotel is an extremely old building with a charm and character. The hostess-owner was very nice, offered me winter after dinner, and offered me some helpful recommendations for nearby attractions.

In our search for a restaurant in Monte Carlo, we stumbled upon this magical location. We were greeted warmly by a friendly receptionist who gave us a tour, set up the dining room for us because it was chilly outside, and let us take in the cosy living room area while we waited. She and her husband created a delicious traditional dinner to suit the diverse tastes of our family of four, including two children. Our hostess provided valuable information on our trip to the area, some background information, and a lot of gracious hospitality. We had the impression that we were stumbled upon a friendly couple's house who then proceeded to offer us a place to stay and an excellent meal! We did see one of the rooms, and we can confirm the quality and cleanliness of the rooms, and in particular, the quality of the cuisine, and the attention of the proprietors. When we went back to the area, we would remain here!.

The I is one of Monte Carlo's oldest palaces, and it has served Ezells husband's family for many years. I'm not a hipster or contemporary building, but it is tastefully furnished and filled with charm. Every item of furniture, space, and region has its history and story. At breakfast, Era gave us homemade cake and provided other bits of information that greatly improved our visit to the region. I appreciate era for such a wonderful stay. We'll come back!.

The service was so unmatched, especially for the friendliness and hospitality of the employees, especially the fact that they gave us free upgrade to a lovely suite. However we only stay one night, but when we come back to Montalcino, we will definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed in this wonderful, unusual hotel for my anniversary and absolutely loved it. The owner, era, is charming and couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. She recommended and even reserved a good local restaurant for us and was a source of information about local sights, vineyards and ideal photographic viewpoints. The hotel is stylish and beautifully decorated and highly recommended by someone who has spent a lot of time in hotels over the years!.

Godt centralt hotel I Montalcino, med yderst servicemindet personale og skøn tagterrasse. Hotellet er indeholder en masse trapper og høje trin, og er i øvrigt uden aircondition på det værelse jeg havde.

Ótima experiencia nesse Bed & Breakfast bem diferenciado, nos sentimos bem a vontade. Quarto super espaçoso; cama, travesseiros e roupa de cama super confortáveis. Recomendo e voltaria a me hospedar novamente, com certeza. Como tem alguns degraus, não recomendável para quem tem alguma limitação de locomoção.

La location è interessante in quanto ubicata in una casa d'epoca - va da se con i problemi di una casa antica. an amazing experience. old old large family house now used as accomodation. very friendly and experienced couple run this. evening meal on terrace offered as an option gave good insight into wine and local customs would definitely stay again no complaints everything 4+ stars and so close to town activity

Delightful and friendly staff could not negate the lack of facilities. No a/c and Wi-Fi which did not work. Location was very good and amenity of town was great.
