The apartment is in a great location, walkable proximity to everything including the train station. The entrance in is a bit tricky, two flights of narrow stairs and awkward entrance into the apartment. It was roomy with a large kitchen area, den area and master bedroom and bathroom downstairs and two adjoining bedrooms upstairs. It is not very well appointed in terms of furnishing, especially the den area with just one small couch, a random chair and a small TV. The major issue we had with our stay for the AC was not functioning properly in the midst of a heat wave between 95-99 degrees each day. The rental company was responsive in addressing it but to no avail after three attempts. It would sit at 78-80 degrees F and never lower even when you used the remote to set the temp. We thought it may have been locked at a pre-set temp. They claimed they fixed it but it never cooled in there for three days. It was so hot upstairs our two adult teens had to sleep on the couch and floor in den. The master was no better with zero circulation and equally hot. It was difficult to sleep, you could never cool down after returning from touring in the heat outside so it made the stay very uncomfortable.

This place had 2 a/c units Neither worked. Numerous messages sent to the rental agent They sent 2 different employees with fans that were broke so we had nothing to cool us off. We walked around all day in 80-90 degree temps to get back to the apartment to have it be hotter inside than outside. We stayed 4 nights. The 3rd night they did offer us another place which was not walkable 5 people with 5 suitcases we would have had to rent a van or 2 taxis to get us to the other place at 8pm in the evening. It wasn’t worth packing up and paying to leave. I have read other reviews that state the a/c was broke long before we arrived. The rental agents acted shocked like it was something they didn’t know about. 2 units both don’t work. How is that a fluke? The bathroom shower and sink back up when using which is gross. I asked for a partial refund instead of moving across town and they stopped answering me. If we would have known the a/c was broke we wouldn’t have booked this place. Furniture was dirty. And bed linens seemed to be full of hairs and fibers. GROSS place
