De centrale ligging in hartje Rome, een prima huis voor maar 70 euro, nodigt uit tot elke dag nieuwe stadsontdekkingen. Bij hartje stad hoort helaas ook veel buitenlawaai, dag en nacht. Maar de eigenaren van Palazzo Olivia hebben voor geluiddichte afsluiting gezorgd en als je liever met open ramen slaapt neemt dan oordopjes mee.

Perfekt läge för oss. Äldre hus, lite slitet men mycket charm. Trevligt mottagande när vi kom, värdefull information. Massor av restauranger på några minuters promenad . Mycket prisvärt! Ett perfekt boende för oss.

A four star hotel, this isn't, but Palazzo Olivia couldn't be more in the center of Rome if it tried. Piazza Navona, Campo Fiori, the Pantheon and Largo Argentina are in the surrounding area. The little street behind Palazzo Olivia is full of shops, restaurants and gelato places. My room in the Palazzo itself was fine, it had two beds, which they push together for couples. The only quirks were that it was a little dark in the room, even after they replaced a bulb or two, and the beds have just a loose duvet on top, not tucked in or anything, which means your duvet tend to slide off in the night. Palazzo Olivia works best for people who are looking for comfort over glamour. There's a fine little elevator so no dragging suitcases up the stairs, and the entrance is on a very small street, nearly an alleyway, which was a bit off putting at first, but that means the street noise is minimal. In Rome, that's big. I was there for a week, and I found it to be entirely satisfactory as a base. The staff were exceedingly helpful and gracious, setting up my transfer to the airport and addressing a few small problems with the room promptly.

If you looking for a place to sleep in the center, this is it. The location is great, we walk to all the places and attraction (Vatican, Coliseum, Spanish sters).

Could not ask for a better location. So close to restaurants and the sights. Piazza Navona is a 2 minute walk away. Room had everything you could ask for in a hotel and was extremely quiet! Would definitely recommend for others and will use again when back in the city. Very helpful staff, self check in helps take the pressure off arrival times. Excellent

I loved the old feel of the property but with all the modern conveniences you would need. The cleaning staff and office staff were extremely nice and courteous. I was very happy with my stay and would stay there again.

Très bien placé, bel établissement du 17e, appartement (n°1) calme et assez équipé pour alterner repas en autonomie et restaurants. Le quartier dispose de bonnes adresses en tout genre. Les horaires de l'accueil (après-midi seulement) sont un peu justes mais notre arrivée tardive et notre séjour se sont passés sans problème

This apartment exceeded our expectations! A quick walk to Piazza Navona. Convenient bus stop around the corner to get to Termini Station, St Peter’s Basilica, or Colosseum/Formum. The street behind had amazing restaurants, gelaterias, and a supermarket.

Couldn't ask for a better location. Steps away from busy Piazza navona and Campo di fiore, yet very quiet for sleeping. Just off main Street with bus stops and shops. Apartment had everything for self catering, fab shower, great air conditioning, comfy bed and was spotless. Very little interaction with staff, but those we met were very pleasant. It was home from home for a few days and we absolutely loved it. Only downside was the small street outside was quite dirty and bags of rubbish piled in places, but this seemed to be the case along many of the streets in Rome. I'd happily stay here again.

The location of this hotel could not have been any better. So close to everything. The room was really nice, it was clean and the air conditioning and ceiling fan were wondering. I would stay here again.

I have previously stayed in this place approx 10 year ago in an apartment. On this occasion we stayed in room base. The locations is a walking distance to all the attractions and the eatery places just around the corner. Although it's very central it is also peacefull in the evening when all the tourist are dining out in local proximity. As a returning customer, I am unable to find faults.
