We decided to make a reservation and try it out because we had heard about the excellent Restaurant in Paestrella Alto in the area. It was a wonderful experience! The proprietor, Roberto, welcomed us warmly on arrival. He explained that guests normally dine together at a table that was traditionally shared by him and his wife, Rebecca, although we could eat separately if we preferred. We chose to join the table and were incredibly delighted with our decision. Roberto is an excellent host who effectively and unfailingly get the conversation going and seamlessly moving between Italian and English to include everyone. Despite some may feel a little daunted by this, I wholeheartedly endorse this aspect of the experience. Since the meal itself is a set menu that changes from day to day, it is a wise idea to inquire in advance and book according to your preferences. Each dish was cooked by Rebecca using her own produce whenever it is feasible. Yes, they also maintain their own pigs! Which was one of the best I've ever had, meltinthemouth delicious. Maltagliati with fresh tomatoes with a characteristic Italian warmth. Tuscan roast pork and fresh vegetables for the main course. And finally, a desert of Zuppa singles, allinol This was a great and unique dining experience that I would absolutely endorse. Just remember to book a few days

Highly advised. I stayed here for a weekend in this tiny slice of peace and quiet in the beautiful Italian countryside. We discovered an amazing location, tasty food, and friendly and friendly individuals. Lunch and dinner were both excellent, and we met with the owner and other guests to talk about the day's activities. The area around poderaccio alto is fantastic, and the costs are more than fair. If you want, you can also buy some local foods that are bio- and ethically sourced.
