Myself and my boyfriend stayed for 4 nights at San Lorenzo whilst we were going around Italy. The apartment we were given was on the top floor and, for two people, it was enormous! And it also had a balcony with a view of the lake. It was very clean and comfortable and quiet and the pool area was especially lovely. The owners do not speak any English, but that wasn't a problem at all as we managed to figure out details still and they were very helpful and patient. Overall, a brilliant place to stay!

Hotel San Lorenzo er et nyere hotel med en skøn be liggenhed. Ejerne er meget hjælpsomme og rare. Man får god fornemmelse for den italienske hverdag. Forholdsvis kort afstand til dejligt supermarked og ca. 3 km. fra søen.

Store leiligheter (vi hadde av de nest største, som har et rom med dobbelseng og et barnerom med to senger), med utmerket standard, fremstår som helt nytt. Beliggenhet ca 15 minutters gange fra midten av sentrum, med god utsikt over Gardasjøen og området sør for byen. Rolige omgivelser. Flott vedlikeholdt, særlig fint basengområde.Vel tilrettelagt for bilturister, med mulighet for individuell garasje på avstengt område. En fordel med grunnleggende kunnskaper i italiensk, men ikke noe problem å kommunisere med vertene, som er meget hyggelige og ryddige. Dette er et sted vi gjerne vender tilbake til.

Utrolig vakkert sted med kort vei til sentrum (10 minutters gange). Vi ble tatt godt i mot av familien som drev stedet. Et sted som vi kan anbefale på det sterkeste som vi gjerne kommer tilbake til. Kun 45 minutter med tog fra Bergamo.

Love hotel in quite area of lake garda, short walk to town center, and good transport links ( trains, bus). Good room says and living area, the staff are lovely and do anything they can to help you, when we had a problem with our car on leaving they drove us the 30 minute drive to the airport. They hotel is quite and relaxed, there is a train line beside the hotel, when passes few times an hour and is not very loud, it was never a problem for myself or family. Lovely town with a lot to see, location is great for people looking to travel around the area.

Pros: Good sized apartment with open plan living room/kitchen. apartment 3 stars just about right.. Nice but small swimming pool. Quiet resident and safe location. Stayed 2 bed apartment for 5 people, which had sofa bed in living room. Ok location (may require rental car as we had already. about 400metres from desenzo del garda centre. Residence San lorenzo already provides garages for parking. Good train station link if you want to get to venice (2hrs by train) or Milan (1hr). Owners of property took us to train station by car. They even took us to one of the best pizzerias we found throughout our whole trip in italy. Ask them, we highly recommend it. Cons: Train track runs right by the side of the apartments. Dont recommend if youre a light sleeper. Apartments run by owners themselves (has pros and cons, good because its more informal, but they are unexperienced and new at this so expect a more informal italian welcome. Owners are nice: their English is okay, but they tried really hard to be welcoming, friendly and really helpful when we needed anything). You dont get this with agents. Location could be better. If you are purely staying in lake garda and not going any where else in italy like venice, milan, florence etc.. i recommend you stay in sirmione or else go to north west of lake where you get the best views of the lake e.g. limone sul garda. Highly recommend residence san lorenzo if you have a rental car and want to travel around italy to explore.

Ho soggiornato insieme alla mia ragazza, presso il residence San Lorenzo e devo dire che abbiamo trovato un persoanale davvero gentile e disponibile alle nostre esigenze... La camera finemente arredata aveva un terrazzo davvero unico, l ' appartamento l ' ho trovato davvero molto pulito ed accogliente , spazio verde all 'esterno della struttura .La struttura è in ottima posizione , vicino al centro di Desenzano, facilmente raggiungibile a piedi. Molto curato il parco con la piscina. Parcheggio auto. Posto bellissimo un soggiorno piacevole e rilassante. Bella la location e clima tranquillo. Ti accolgono come se fossi di famiglia.
