The grounds and pool are lovely, the views sublime, and the rooms are clean. The staff is warm and welcoming-- I left an item at the airport and they were very patient and kind in helping me get it back. We enjoyed the 10 minute walk down the staircase to the sky gondola to get into Taormina Center-- a pretty way to start the day. Then the stairs back up later were my workout (or it's easy to get a taxi). Taormina is a pretty, fun town to visit (with incredible food!) but I was glad we stayed in a more peaceful place off the beaten track.

Flott utsikt og helt greit basseng. Vær obs på at det er 250 trapper ned tll stramda og 309 trapper opp til byen. Vanskelig å komme seg ditt med koffert hvis du ikke ønsker å gå med koffert i mange trapper eller gå lang vei rundt. Flott å komme seg opp med Gondolbanen som er 250 trapper ned og ca 3-4 min å gå til. De er hjelpelig om du er seint ute. De prøver å finne en løsning. Men du bør bestille taxi elelr lignende for å komme ditt. Bra kjøkken med mange muligheter.

Beautiful views, amazing gardens, fabulous pool and friendly staff. Good location between the beach and the town - walk down to the cable car to avoid the steps up to town. Spent many happy hours just at the hotel on the balcony looking at the beautiful view and using the pool. If you love cacti then this is the place for you!

Flott beliggenhet, nært til stranden og Taormina by. Gode restauranter og tur muligheter. Fordel å være i fysisk god form. Flott bassengområde, god frokost i nydelige lokaler. Hyggelig og service innstilt personale. Veldig hjelpsom og imøtekommende- rask til å ta tak i ting.

Väldigt mysigt och vackert ställe med jättefin utsikt. Vi hade en Lägenhet Panoramic med utsikt mot poolen och havet. Gillar att boendet inte städas varje dag. Vi gjorde frukost och vissa dagar lunch i lägenheten. Det är varmt och som sagt en bit att gå för att handla så det blev mest att handla nere vid gatan innan stranden, såklart inte så billigt. Det fanns en Coop uppe i stan. Vi uppskattade att boendet låg mellan stranden och staden, vi kunde gå till båda ställen, till stan på ca 15-20 minuter och till stranden på 10 minuter. Det är många trappor så det är svettigt under högsäsong, men vi gillar att promenera.

We had a fantastic stay at Residence Terra Rossa. The views were breathtaking. Our room and the grounds were spotless clean. We traveled with our kids (ages 6, 8, 10) and we are an active family so we had no issues with the vast number of stairs. In fact we really enjoyed the walks home to burn off all the pasta and gelato. We enjoyed the breakfast each day (it was pricey for our family of 5 at 15 Euros per person, but we did it anyways for convenience and because we needed fuel and coffee before trekking up the stairs). We could have gotten groceries for room as it had a full kitchen but we decided not to. We swam in the pool every day and loved it. The air conditioning was super strong and our room was perfectly cold. Our bed layout was perfect for 3 kids with each having their own single bed. We had a rental car and opted to park up the street in the free lot which was great (no issues with the free lot) and there is a little snack stand there where we get coffee and cocktails to take on our walks. If I had to list cons they would be as follows: 1) the after hours check-in instructions were provided after we already took off on our flight which made me a bit nervous - I subsequently had to provide visa details during our layover - I was already using an e-Sim and I had to roam to get a text to approve payment - not the end of the world but I would have liked to have this sorted before leaving my house. 2)the drive out of Toarmina takes 20 minutes on narrow roads

We really enjoyed our stay overall, lovely apartment and beautifully kept gardens / pool area, with a stunning view over Isola Bella. All staff were friendly and helpful. The location worked well for us as a base to explore Taormina and visit Isola Bella beach. Parking was easy, spacious free car park short walk from the residence. We were advised by reception not to drive into Taormina centre, but to use taxi / cable car instead. However, we found it much more convenient to drive. Parking in the centre is not an issue as there are large car parks (e.g. Porta Catania) that charge reasonable prices - cheaper than taxi / cable car for a group.

I couldn’t falter my stay at Terra Rossa. A small residence set among beautiful gardens with great views. We had a studio overlooking the Isola Bella Island. The patio is perfect sized for an evening unwind. The studio provides everything you need and is cool. The pool area is never too busy. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We loved Terra Rossa! The grounds were beautiful, the pool was lovely, and the apartments were stylish. Only things I can offer to mention is that there is a steep 10 min. hike down to the beach or up to the town center— but it’s good exercise! Also, we tried to keep the kitchen clean but still got ants (in a damp dish towel). We would definitely stay there again.

Unser Apartment war geräumig, die Küche gut ausgestattet, aber einige Möbelstücke waren älter. Von der Unterkunft aus, die in einer ruhigen Gegend in der Mitte zwischen Taormina und Isola Bella liegt, hat man einen hervorragenden Meerblick. Es gibt ziemlich viele Treppen zum Strand und nach Taormina, aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und die Kommunikation war unkompliziert. In der Nähe der Unterkunft gibt es einen großen öffentlichen Parkplatz, auf dem wir parken konnten. Insgesamt eine ausgezeichnete Erfahrung.
