We had an all around great 3 days stay at La Bandita. We received a warm reception and were taken care of by a professional and very friendly team. Food was excellent, both the breakfast buffet (outstanding omelette) and the dinner. Highly recommended! Sara & Bjørn

Tenuta La Bandita liegt sehr schön etwas abseits der Touristenströme, trotzdem ist alles mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen, die Umgebung bietet sich an für Wanderungen oder Fahrradtouren. La Bandita liegt idyllisch zwischen Olivenbäumen und Korkeichen, mit einem wunderschönen Blick vom Pool ins Tal und auf die umliegenden Hügel. In der Küche und dem Restaurant wird das hauseigene frische Gemüse verwertet, dementsprechend lecker sind z.B. die frischen Tomaten. Das Frühstück ist eher typisch italienisch, dafür mit verschiedenen selbstgebackenen Kuchen. Frühstück und Abendessen werden auf der schön gelegenen Terasse vor dem Haupthaus eingenommen. Das Abendessen ist sehr geschmackvoll zubereitet, die Preise sind nicht überteuert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten unseren Hund mit, und wirklich alle sind absolut tierlieb und hilfsbereit. Der Pool hat eine schöne Größe, es ist alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in La Bandita genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

We stayed 5 nights in Sassetta. If you like to be surrouded by olives trees and country side. This place is for you! We had the room 20 on second floor wich have a nice balcony offering such a great view. The pool was not busy. Morning buffet is amazing with all sorts of home made sandiwches tarts and cakes! Diner is not to be missed. We highly recommande this place and shall return soon. Herve

Die Unterkunft Tenuta La Bandita war für uns der Beste und erholendste Start in unsere Ferien in Italien, es liegt etwas ausserhalb inmitten von Natur und vielen Olivenbäumen. Der Pool lädt zum Verweilen ein und die Zimmer haben viel Charakter. Das Frühstück ist sehr vielseitig und kann im gemütlichen Garten genossen werden.

Komfortabel für den Aufenthalt in der Toskana, etwas in der Höhe gelegen und so sehr angenehm wegen der typischen hohen Sommerhitze. Zimmer und Umgebung mit antiken Möbel ausgestattet. Zum Abkühlen tagsüber mit Pool und abends mit sehr guter regionaler Toskanaküche auf der Terasse des Haupthauses. Familienbetrieb mit sehr aufmerksamen Service. Lage sehr ruhig, am Südhang gegenüber von Sassetta. Zur ersten Anfahrt lohnt sich der Blick auf die Straßenkarte/Navi und Beschilderung

Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits und bietet einen ruhigen und idyllischen Aufenthalt in der Toskana. Das restaurierte Herrenhaus ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Marmorfußböden, Kunstwerke, altes Mobiliar und die mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichteten Zimmer schaffen Atmosphäre. Das Personal ist sehr nett, engagiert und professionell. Im hauseigenen Restaurant wird authentische toskanische Küche serviert, der Preis ist etwas höher aber ok. Die servierten Produkte stammen aus der Region - Gemüse meist aus dem Garten des Anwesens. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und wird im Speiseraum des Restaurants serviert. Die hausgemachten Marmeladen sind sehr lecker. Vom Hotel aus kann man die Region erkunden - Siena und Florenz sind nicht weit, aber auch die kleinen Orte in der Nähe sind sehenswert. Bis zum Meer sind es ca. 30km. Auch der Garten von Tenuta la Bandita kann erkundet werden. Fazit: Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

I visited for a girls weekend where we were looking for a relaxing weekend of exploring Tuscan hills and we were really delighted with what we encountered. Overall the hotel was in good condition and the rooms were very comfortable with air conditioning which was a pleasure after the intense heat of the outdoors.

Dieser Aufenthalt übertraf alle unsere Erwartungen. Die Gäste dieses Hotels werden von außerordentlich freundlichen, sehr angenehmen, hilfsbereiten Menschen empfangen. Traumhafte, sehr ruhige Lage der gesamten Anlage. Die ursprüngliche Funktion des Hauses als eines Anwesens, in dem ein Graf seine Gäste empfing und unterbrachte, wird von den jetzigen Besitzern in diesem Sinne und in hervorragender Weise gewahrt und in bester Tradition fortgeführt. Das Frühstück erreicht locker den Standard eines Fünf-Sterne-Hotels. Es gibt hier absolut nichts auszusetzen, deswegen konnten wir das Hotel in allen Kategorien mit der höchsten Punktzahl bewerten.

Io e mia moglie abbiamo organizzato, per il ponte del 1 novembre, questo viaggio in pochissimo tempo. La nostra destinazione principale erano le terme di sassetta.... stupende! Abbiamo soggiornato nella tenuta La Bandita e.... ottima scelta. Tutto stupendo e perfetto. Si mangia anche benissimo nel loro ristorante. Caminetto acceso e ambiente da fiaba. Consigliatissimo.

Wonderful place. Right from initial greeting to final goodbyes we felt like we were visiting family. Danielle upgraded our room to a lovely balcony suite, which we enjoyed for 4 nights. Had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and all were superb. Dinners prepared the chef were 4 course Italian wonders. The grounds were great to just wander. The garden has all the fresh vegetables that go in to dinner. The field has friendly burros and a horse that graciously accept treats. The pond has geese and ducks. We used the location as a central point for bicycle adventures around the surrounding area and it worked great. Wonderful lunches in Sasetta and Suverette. We will definitely go back.
