Beautiful new small cafe close to the bus stop. Very convenient to the city's main shopping area yet understated and peaceful away from the crowds. Excellent service. Delicious food. Good coffee. A new favourite.

The hostel is a bit harder to find than they tell you, and the entrance is also a bit difficult because there are a few entrances to the building and the guy didn't tell me I had to go all the way around rather than up to the front door. The main building's power was also out, so I had to find my way up a flight of stairs and try to find the correct door. The 12 bed dorm was a bit cramped, the door did not lock or close. They have two bathrooms for the entire hostel, both bathrooms were not well cleaned and maintained at the time. The shower in one bathroom had no hot water and no showerhead, so it was just a hose. I found this slightly comical but also annoying. I was very happy to get out of there in the morning. The location to the main city is great, and the staff I met was very friendly and helpful.

I chose this hostel because it's proximity to the tunnel and central station, completely valuable from their location as I was in town for a bad concert. I didn't mind the location and neighborhood as I prefer these areas to the more touristy environments. The value was at best functional. The overall vibe at this place was cold. Could also benefit from a shared dorm for travellers rather than a dark staircase and halls to draw you together with other travelers.

This hostel is good for budget tourists because it is located in an old historical building. It is in a great location, with high ceilings, cheap furniture, no common areas, and the hostel has good position. Therefore, I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys the old architecture.
