Minshuku, a familyrun business, is conveniently located near the lake, making it advisable to explore the area. Despite what some people may say, the room has air conditioning, which makes it comfortable enough to stay warm. The breakfast was also quite tasty.

The view from the rooftop terrace is breathtaking. The rooms in the traditional japanese style are spacious and the owner is very kind and welcoming.

This place is secluded in front of the lake with a very warm elderly host. If you are looking for peace and quiet, come here.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is close to the city center, if you want to go to tourist attractions, you can go there by foot.

The onsen was pleasant. The hotel provided instructions in english for areas where foreigners might not be familiar. This ryokan was fantastic. There is a wonderful view of lake kawaguchiko and mount fuji. It was spotless.

The owner is also fluent in english. And then, the location is strategic, as it has a rooftop where you can see mount fuji and the stars at night. After that, this ryokan is traditional. Subsequently, its very good to have mt. Fuji and stars on the roof when the weather is nice.

The rooms are comfortable, the bath is relaxing, and the staff is friendly. The rooftop offers a beautiful view of mount fuji. However, there are some minor issues with the sink, which seemed to only have cold water and was located on the opposite end of the room from the toilet, lacking etiquette. Overall, i would recommend staying.

This hotel has rooms in the japanese style and an onsen bathroom. You can see mount fuji from the rooftop on a sunny day.

This place is highly recommended. The breakfast here is one of the best ive ever had in japan, and onsen is amazing. They also run this place by the kindest couple i think he has ever met. I arrived before checkin time, they gave me a big favor and made sure if u show up there.

We had a wonderful time at akaishi. The onsen was lovely, and the room was spacious and equipped with everything we needed. After that, we were dropped back at the station after the proprietors made us incredibly wholesome vegetarian breakfast. From the rooftop lookout, i could see fuchsan briefly.

This location offers breathtaking views of one of the five lakes and the stunning mount fuji. It is a delightful place to stay, offering sweeping views over one or more of these magnificent lakes. You will experience authentic japanese hospitality, sleeping on futons that are made of original tatami materials. To finish or begin the day, prepare yourself for an oinsen bath!.

Simple yet wonderful. Very attentive and welcoming host, pick up to and from the station, all the usual hotel amenities available and a genuine home onsen to boot.

This inn is run by a nice lady and warmly welcomes us with ocha to okashi, japanese green tea and snacks. Traditional janese rooms are very well maintained and very clean, as are the separate toilets and the communal onsen downstairs. We had stayed upstairs and had an amazing view of the lake. Remember to keep your reservation number and name ready to show as the staff cant speak english. P. S. Mount fu is visible from the roof!.

A typical ryokan that is best known for its excellent interior views of Fuji. However, having good views over Fuji is not particularly special for lake kawaguchiko. Serviceable with some heart, but i would look for other ries in the area. During my stay, it appears that there was only one proprietor managing the eryoken. He was very friendly and helpful, although he may have been overworked. The indoor public bath was quite small (could accommodate at least four men at once) and felt a little dirty. Bed linens are not completely clean. I discovered quite ten hairs of various lengths in bedsheets. There are tears and holes in both the curtains and the mats on the room. Doors are difficult to properly close. Bathrooms were separated from rooms, and toilet stalls had very little space. Breakfast was decent, nothing extravagant, yet adequate. You will be informed about the time breakfast will serve (8 am in my case). If you plan to skip breakfast, please let the owner know. No restaurants are close by, so youll need to walk for at most 10 minutes in darkness to get to the closest restaurant.

This place has a beautiful view of mount fuji from the roof. The price is reasonable and the location is in savoring surroundings. And the room is spacious and decorated in the japanese style.

Onsen and mount fuji can be seen from the roof. Ryokan with a lake view. Average ryokon with limited facilities. Pickup and dropoff is available by car or minibus depending on number of guests.

This place has a great location, and the staff is very helpful. The view from the hotel is beautiful. But what really matters is the employees. They go above and beyond to make sure that guests are satisfied.
