I always enjoy attending events here. Despite the large crowds, the bar service is usually quite good. Make sure to attend one of the smaller events held in the front room, as it is more intimate.

The security guard, philippe, is amazing. Hes the best guy ever. I adore him and the bell house.

Excellent venue with a great atmosphere. Pizza is available right down the block on 3rd, as well as drinks before each show. Get here early if you want to see the show, like your dad at the airport early. If you have one friend waiting, you have to stand up because they sell well over the seating area. Dont drive here at all. 30 years ago, park slope and gowanus ran out of parking. Subways all around. Use the transit app. Check out the amazing, funny, and beautiful Zainab Johnson here. Check out her on prime, YouTube, ig, and tt. Note for those who are older or sensitive, etc. Folding chairs if you need a cushion, bring one from home. Yes, the venue is very accessible for people with disabilities, walkers, etc. Get there early, there is one toilet, and there is a stand for everyone do not attempt to go afterward go before. Above all, have fun.

The venue is traditional and nycstyle. Its perfect for live music and intimate performances. The staff is professional, friendly and helpful. Drinks are very affordable.

I adore this venue, so make sure to arrive early to secure a seat! There is excellent access to the restrooms, and if you want a quick drink, head to the bar outside the concert area.

I still recommend this place. Dont hesitate to choose this venue to see your favorite performers or someone new! Great venue with great line ups! Monet x Change was amazing! Fantastic show, we laughed so hard! Two openers before monet x Change who were also very funny. I wish monet x Change had more time on stage. I hope to see them at the bell house again in the future. Great bar staff, strong drinks and reasonable prices. If you need a quick bite with your drink or a snack before the show, they sell pizza. I didnt try it, but it smelled and looked great as i passed the station. It was packed inside before the doors opened to the performance room. It was confusing how everyone should line up. The bar was a bit understaffed with only one bartender at the entrance bar. There is seating inside, but it is on first come, first served, so make sure to arrive early if you want to sit near the stage. Security sitting by the stage was a bit distracting because they were on their phones most of the performance. These are a few small things that can be easily addressed.

If you get the chance to see a performance at this unique venue, it is strongly advised. My preferred live venue in the city! Because of how small the venue is, the people who attend shows here are genuinely the true fans. Ive been to see the newbie cast of snl, tim heidecker, and david cross three times, and the venue is incredibly intimate and always makes for a unique experience. Cant wait to go back.

The atmosphere, size, beer, pizza, and people were all excellent. With Rollie Williams and the Climate Town Hall School Assembly, we had a wonderful evening here! Its well worth taking the nj transit and flying in from japan.

The bartenders keep up the good work, especially during the 80 s and 90 s parties, which are always enjoyable. Fantastic setting!.

I really enjoyed coming here to see adi conover, a wellrounded comedian, a fantastic speaker, a genuine person, and a relatable person. The best comedy show ive ever attended! The staff at this venue were very nice and kept the event as organized as possible. Warning: They will ask you to show your id and vaccination information at the door. I do not recommend arriving late as it gets quite packed.

As a big fan of Joe Pera and david licatas standup show, i came to witness them. They hosted four local nyc comedians, all with unique styles but were all outstanding. There are also plenty of beers available for happy hour from 5-7 pm! Lovely, intimate venue for comedy, gigs, and other events.

I adore the high ceilings throughout, giving the space the impression that it is larger than it actually is. There were at least two bars. I went to a live taping of a podcast, and it was enjoyable. Theres a pretty good stage for performances. Unfortunately, there were limited seats, and i arrived right before the show began, so i stood the entire time.

With a bar and some food, it is a fantastic setting. A mediumsized stage. The seating is hard metal, and the setting is limited. We thought we were lucky to get a seat, but we left the show standing. There is no parking. Handicap accessible.

One of my favorite bk venues for comedy shows. Drinks are seasonal and delicious here, pizza is ok. The comics ive seen here this year alone have been fantastic. The atmosphere is lgbt friendly, staff are never misrepresented as nonbinary, gender neutral restrooms are always a plus!.

A fantastic venue space with a smaller front room with a bar and a dj room. The larger back room has a bar and a stage for live music. The manager was very accommodating in letting our group decorate the venue.
