If you choose to stay in Kawaguchiko, Shiranai is a fantastic choice. The twin and son run the Shiranai and are sweet and lovely people. They were extremely generous and welcoming. If we wanted to drink, the son forgot his name and offered to be our designated driver. This was a very thoughtful offer given Japan's driving laws. He even offered to take us to nearby attractions. The room is a Japanese-style tatami room with beds on the floor and table. It had a heater, lots of cushions, storage, and space. The rooms had a lovely view of it. Fuji. free wifi. The shower and bath are shared. Every day, 6 pm to 10 pm, the shower bathtub can only be used. This is because they clean and arrange the bath for you to use. Of course, guests must first use showers before taking a bath as a soothing soak in a typical traditional japanese bathroom. Shiranai offers free bicycles to use. The lake is only a short stroll away. This place is amazing, and we strongly urge people to stay here. We would return!.

We strongly advise people to stay here, and this location is amazing. In Kawaguchiko, Shiranai is a great place to stay. The Shiranai is run by a mother and son, who are quite kind and charming individuals. They were incredibly generous and welcoming. The son forgot his name, and if we wanted to drink, he was bribe to serve as our designated driver. This was a very thoughtful offer because of Japan's speeding laws. He even offered to drive us to some nearby attractions. The rooms are tatami in a japanese style with beds on the floor and table. There was a heater, plenty of blankets, pillows, storage, and space. It was a stunning view of the room. Fuji Free wifi. The bathroom and showers are shared. Every day from 6 o'clock to 10 o'clock, the showerbath can only be used between 6 and 10 o'clock. This is because they clean and set up the bath ready for use. Of course, in a traditional Japanese bathroom, guests should first use showers before using the bath as a relaxing soak. Shiranai has free bikes that are easy to move around. Lake is just a short walk away.
