One of Japan's foremost vacation spots is Nikki. It offers many fascinating and unusual locations to explore. It is also a short train ride from Tokyo that is easily accessible for a fun day excursion. However, if you want to go out for an additional day and have a tight budget, there are a lot of affordable lodges and hotels. Tobu nikki station's hotel fanatic is just a short stroll away. The famous Agemanju Fried Bun is a must-do. The hotel room is small, but that is what a budget capsule hotel is. The hotel provides a basic room for two people as well as a communal bath on the first floor. Make sure to have the cable. This is not a gastronomic escape.

Especially if you're used to capsule hotels, which I am not. It was convenient to be close to the Tobu Nikki train station. Toshogu shrine can be a little bit of a walk for me. Quite a pleasant gentleman at the front desk in the evenings, but I don't think he speaks much English nor anyone else in the area, either. While I was here, I did observe a number of others. Foreigners can easily get by without difficulty, though. The capsule was more of a small, closet room with even a chair to sit on. Everything was tidy and tidy. The blanket used a set mattress instead of a duvet cover, leaving a portion of the comforter exposed, which I thought odd. There are no complaints from here about the bedding, though. The breakfast is excellent and well worth the additional 600. The fact that they nickel and dime you for coffee or tea is something I don't like about this place. In the morning, they only provide it for free. Even 15 minutes before they asked me for the additional 100. Also, check and checkout times are extremely strict. On both of these things, their actions were incredibly short-sighted.

This hotel is new and feels that way. The rooms were immaculate, the staff were polite and friendly and the location was close to the train station in a 5 minute walk.

I stayed in one of the capsules and it was far superior to other capsule hotels I'd stayed at. Getting off the bus and exploring is a worthwhile option since it's very close to the airport. After a long day of walking, the begining was quite peaceful, it's a little, but there was always someone else there, even though it was quite little. Toiletries are available, including shaving cream and toothpaste, but this is routine in most Japanese hotels and should be expected anyway. The capsules are incredibly private, which is a pleasure to me. There are several capsules in one room, but because they are separated by a curtain, each capsule is a private room, and as you enter and have your own space, it's very secure. There is even some storage, but it's not big enough for large bags, so be aware, but I believe they can store large luggage at reception. Keep in mind that this is a capsule hotel, so don't anticipate much room. You can use their lockers, which was convenient for me since I arrived very early and needed to stash my bags somewhere else. You use a 100-yen coin for use, but when you get it back, you get it back. Breakfast was straightforward but sufficient. You get free coffee, but you have to pay 100 yen after breakfast, and you must pay for it during

My husband, my 1-year-old daughter and I stayed in a family room for two nights. The room was clean and big enough for 3 big suitcases, 2 small bags and a very large stroller. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Doesn't speak much English but can make it manage. Great location! Will return if for some reason I find myself in Nikki again.
