The location is excellent! Its close to everything! I spent one night here in the middle of october 2022. I couldnt be happier. The staff is amiable, the room is immaculate, and the hotel is familyrun.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. Most of them spoke enough english to help us with everything we needed. The rooms were nice, clean and the location is great right in dotonbori. But the only complaint is that the windows could be better soundproofed as the area can be noisy at night.

We adored kaneyoshi ryokan and heartily endorse this charming inn! The location is fantastic, not only on the river but also in the center. We had a lovely little sitting area with sweeping views of the water where we shared supper 711 while enjoying the scenery in our room. The man behind the desk was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to assist us in making reservations for our next trip and calling ahead to make dietary arrangements at one of our inrooms. Our breakfast and bath were both delicious!.

The owner maintained the room very clean, even though the building is a bit old. The smell in the bathroom is very fresh, the tatami is brand new, and the view of the river makes you feel sunny every day. Breakfast is traditional and neat. I will book this hotel for my next stay in osaka.

Im not sure what time this hotel is stuck in, but its amazing. Very good service. Excellent price and a great room. We had the one with sexy bathroom. Do not wear shoes inside the room! Respect the tatami! Use the green slippers in the hallway and at the hotel. And the bathroom slipper in that bathroom too. Take it easy and unwind.

I chose this hotel because i wanted to experience the Japanese lodging in namba. Despite its age, it is clean and comfortable, and ive been able to sleep more comfortably than at the hotel a day before. I want to stay here on my next trip to osaka.

The room is quite spacious, but the toilet is small. The staff is very helpful and polite. Very clean and tidy room.

The ryokan is spotless and cozy, situated in the center of dotonbori. Although the rooms are simple and a touch antiquated, they offer cool river views. However, be aware that there is hardly any street noise throughout much of the night, making it not the best option for light sleepers. We were quite high up on the fifth floor and were able to sleep well with earplugs in, but we probably wouldnt stay here for more than one or two nights.

This ryokan is a fantastic place to stay! Despite the nightlife in the area, i stayed here with two other people in solitary rooms, which were quite peaceful. Everything is within walking distance of this location, located in front of the dotonbori neighborhood, where great food and shopping are available. Make sure to take ten minutes to relax in onsen. I would return to this hotel! Also, for americans, make sure you reserve reserving n smoking accommodation.

This location was fantastic! The floor was strangely cozy, and the bathroom and sleeping area were wellsuited for people of western size. Just remember to bring earplugs because the street around can get a little noisy, but its not crazy at all.

We had a wonderful time at kaneyoshi ryokan. The room is spacious, with secluded bathrooms and sweeping river views. Additionally, the location is excellent. Very traditional breakfast was served. Although we only spent one night there, we wish we could have stayed longer.

Excellent personnel. Every morning, they did an excellent job cleaning for us. Very centrally located. Each morning even if you didnt purchase the breakfast package, a free biscuit that is individually packed was also provided. Nice little touch. It might not be appropriate for those who wish to stay out late because the hotel has securing oclock and 6:00 am lockout. However, its fantastic unless you want id like to have two people stay in jigsaw style and need yumen.

We had a wonderful stay at kaneyoshi ryokan! The breakfast was delicious, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were immaculate. You cant beat this location either. When we return to osaka, we will stay here again!.

I stayed here for a few nights in 2014. The room was simple but very nice, with great views of the river. The location is close to dotonbori for food and nightlife, but still far enough away that it is not too noisy. But the best part was the guy who checked us in and out. I wish i could give service 6.5 stars. He took the time to find out where we were going next and as it was outside of ubud, he gave us schedule of transport that saved us from missing o trains that were less common.

We stayed at 405, which faces the river. The room is clean and has noisecancelling windows and a foam mattress. Party noise was very minimal, we were able to sleep well for 3 nights. Foam mattresses are comfortable for tourists like me. Staff are polite and the location is closer to nipponbashi and an 8minute walk from nagamba station. Will definitely return to this ryokan the next time i visit osaka!.

I wished i could have stayed longer and taken in the scenery from the room. The room was really roomy. It had its own bathroom and an amazing river view. There was also plenty of room to store our bags. Despite being in a very touristy area, ive had sanitize my night without any outside noise. They even hooked us up with yukatas, which my brother and husband absolutely loved for dipping in onsen. What he also adored was the traditional japanese vibe.
