We chose this ryokan as our base to tour this area. The location is a bit far from takayama central, but close to the ropeway and kamikochi if you drive. Onsen wifi food onsan and staff are great and excellent.4,8/52 Okt 2023

The service provided here was exceptional. The location is in the middle of the mountains, offering excellent food at reasonable prices. Although the place may be a bit old, it has been around for ages, yet its impeccably clean! Additionally, when we left our passports and money, which totaled more than $1,00 in usd, in hotel and moved to another city, they assisted us in locating it and mailing them to our hotel. We had a great time in the onsen after i went hiking. The people who run this place are really nice! They are helpful, considerate, and truly trying to make your stay there enjoyable. I am very grateful for them. When ive mentioned my ear problems and some noise (more on that later), they made an effort to help me feel at ease. There are also wonderful meals here, you have tastier dining areas, one inside and one outside, which we thoroughly enjoyed. One towel smelled strongly like sweat, but it didnt give off the impression that it had been cleaned well. We received resentment for this location, even though if ill say he is someone who particularly needs extremely clean places. Also, there was lingering mold in our room, although despite the fact that the windows were left open for countless hours. In other ryokans, yalls cant be used to this scent. Additionally, the air conditioners and heaters in both the general areas and the hallway are quite noisy. Even though we had two fairly thin doors between them, we still could hear them in their room. And there wasnt hardly any outside noise from outside. What a lovely location! We had savored our time at this stunning traditional ryokan. We were fortunate to have the lovely public outdoor pools all to ourselves, and the setting is so serene. When we arrived, the staff was very welcoming and gave us an explanation of everything in english, before each meal, they informed us of the dishes. The building has a lot of fire safety features built in, fire doors etc that are well hidden. If you want to hike, walk south 540 m there is secluded road where you can find another road on right by the public log cabin where youre able to take an amazing hike up the hill. Traditional post and beam, construction, tatami, mat, rooms, futon and very clean. The food and service are spectacular. Different onsen have different temperatures. Use outdoor as if you like high temperatures because mens women enjoy being outside.4,6/52 Apr 2024

Iw was able to experience the Japanese ryokan in a wonderful manner, with plenty of onsen options! In addition to the traditional breakfast and dinner. Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. They also prepared irradiated menus for glutenfree guests!.4,6/525 Mar 2023

We had a great time at kaseya. Stayed for one night. The rooms were clean and spacious. There was tainting hole in my duvet, but it didnt bother me. Dinner was delicious and we ate it all up. Breakfast wasnt really our favorite, however we tried everything and enjoyed the japanesic experience. A nice place and staff who are helpful and speak good english.4,4/53 Feb 2023

The ryokan is cozy and tidy! Although the exterior appears dated, the room was clean, and the staff is very welcoming and attentive. Speaking beginner english. There are two private onsens outside and indoor, both of which are comfortable, but we prefer the indoor one because it is larger! Additionally, there is a public onesense specifically for men and women. You can ride billiards, although we never used them. Inside the rook, you can find one vending machine. The cuisine is excellent, however, hida beef set is highly recommended because i like beef. Please keep in mind that there are no atm machines close by! The nearest one is about 3.4 km away. We walked because we were running out of cash, yet the atmos was close because its holiday! We have to travel back and forth! You dont want to experience the pain! Make sure you have enough cash! Even at the hotel manager, an attic was previously available there, according to the hotels manager. However, since the covid has passed, it has not changed. If you really need cash from the motel, do ask the restaurant to exchange it with ps10 comission and they will give you the money. On the way back to Takayama, we are in desperate need of money for the bus ticket. They only offer limited selection of cup noodles4,2/531 Des 2023

The rooms are lovely and quiet, and a private onsen is advisable! Both inside and outside are incredibly cute and peaceful. We had an amazing experience at kaseya, the dinner was fantastic we had the beef, not only the food was delicious but the entire experience around it.4,2/519 Mei 2023

If youre in the area, i recommend you to visit it. This ryokan is excellent, in my opinion, it meets all the expectations one would expect from a rook. The personnel are courteous and attentive, and the setting is rural, making it quite tranquil. We ordered supper, which was excellent even though it was chilly be prepared for it, because the private onsen is lovely. Although ive never tried aida beef, but it wasnt worth trying.4,2/53 Apr 2023

We had an amazing time during our stay here! Beautiful area, very friendly staff, and great onsen! The traditional meals were also delicious and well worth scheduling your stay in! I do recommend renting a car because it is surrounded by countryside and day trips will be easier with rented cars! We went to places like sugoroku gorge, hike up mount yake and days trips to hida and takoyama! All of this was within an hour drive from the ryokan!.Fasilitas Populer
