My husband and I were very blessed to be able to stay here for 2 nights. We loved staying here, especially the second day. Wish we were able to stay here another night to enjoy lounging around more since we spent the second day seeing the Seiganto-ji Temple Sanjuno-to 3-Storied Pagoda and that surrounding area. As for the review of this Ryokan, we appreciate how this place has their own luggage service when you're at the dock, which we found to be helpful. Since we stayed for 2 nights, the meals were different on the second day, which we like the dinner on the second day more than the first. We find it a bit surprising as we'd think the first day dinner should be more of a show-stopper. However, it wasn't the case for us, but the dinner on the second night made us consider coming back here in the future. Besides that, we love the view from our room because it's gorgeous watching the sunrise. We also really like the service, especially the young female who assisted us explaining the meal in English on the second night for dinner and our breakfast on the last day. She was very sweet and remembered us. She also suggested to take pictures for us. Unfortunately, we didn't catch her name.

料理も美味しいし温泉もよかった。和歌山に行く際はまた行きたい。唯一不満があるとしたら温泉での女性用ビニール水着がお湯から出るとすぐに冷たくなってしまう事。

From the moment we were greeted by the genuinely warm welcoming staff at the passenger waiting area, the deck, and the front desk and all throughout our 3 days 2 nights stay here, we have experienced the real "Omotenashi"here. Every moment of our stay here was just perfect!! We are absolutely certain that our stay at Kumano-Bettei will be an once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will treasure in our memories for a very long time. Thank you again for the great service!

Despite being in a nice location, nakanoshima quickly became one of our favorite Romans. The hotel is in a good location, close to the metro station but surrounded by nature and with all the conveniences needed. You can call them the day before if you have more luggage or are directionally challenged to arrange a transfer to and from the station. The staff is friendly and eager to assist, and the boat was also quite smooth. If youre heading at a busy time, it would be prudent to call a little earlier to reserve the boat. After staying for two nights, nakanoshima has quickly become one of our favorite romans! Although the rooms were a little tiny compared to other opulent romans, we did have everything we required. Although the rooms were a bit tiny, we had everything you required. It was also very gorgeous to carry your essentials to the bath in baskets! Although the female outdoor bath with the cave was particularly attractive, females still need to wear a cover over since there are occasional boats in the distance. I also loved the foot bath at the top of the hike. Due to the quality of the food that is imaginative and fresh, they serve regional cuisine with gourmet dishes, the whale is not suitable for everyone.

We came here after 4 days of hiking and really enjoyed ourselves. You take the ferry from the tourist jerry, and from the moment you board the boat until you drop off, you are treated well. The rooms all have fantastic views, although we did see a dolphin holding pool, which was incredibly sad to see. Especially because it's so close to where the cove was shot. The outdoor ones were great and offered 3 different temperatures, although the women's bathing suites weren't my scene. Food was excellent, but the wine prices were a little pricey. The walk to the observation area is worthwhile, but go early in the morning and wear shoes.

I stayed here about 3 years ago for the first time. But this time the Roman was better and completely renovated. The food and rooms are good but not all very well. The hotel now has fewer rooms after renovation, so the number of people can board their small boat back to shore is reduced. You may miss one, two or even three crossings. There is no other option, and if you have an onward train to catch, that's your problem not theirs. In addition to wildly limiting the boat capacity, the staff, when faced with many customers wanting to leave during checkout rush hour, completely ignore visitors concerns and demonstrate the absurdity of their rigid systems. The attached photos show the boat on the way that the staff tell you its impossible to squeeze an extra passenger on to. It is quite expensive Roman, and one really expect better system and facilities and accommodating staff attitude if they want to reap the rewards of their otherwise great investment.

It's a great place to finish the Koto Walk. The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. The place is beautiful! The view from the room is spectacular. The hotel is very clean. The food is delicious! I wouldn't mind coming back here and staying another 3 days.

家内と熊野三山詣での折に利用しました。HPも見て、静かな雰囲気と丁寧な料理を期待して選びました。立地、料理、温泉は素晴らしいと思います。しかし、利用した当日はお世辞にも品があるとは言えない団体客がおり、食事中も大きな声で騒がしく私達2人の会話も聞こえません。何か安い居酒屋チェーン店で食事をしている感じでした。頭に風呂で使ったタオルを乗せ、鉢巻きにしたまま大きな声と笑い声で食事をされていましたので、料理の味も覚えていない位です。せめて、団体客を別会場、別時間にするなどの対応をして欲しいですね。食後、静かなラウンジで過ごしていても、また団体客がやってきて騒がしくなり、こちらは退散。外国人観光客も顔を歪めていましたね。たまたま運が悪い日に当たったのかも知れませんが、団体客のマネジメントを考えて頂きたいと思います。
