The traditional hot spring inn is wonderful. There is a shuttle bus to and from matsumoto station. They even offer symphony service into the wellknown natural beauty spot of kamikochi. Rooms, baths and meals are provided.

We stayed for 2 nights and felt very well taken care of. Our room was very clean and had a beautiful mountain view. We loved that both onsens had nice outdoor areas where you could enjoy brisk baths. The food was delicious and it was really nice to have breakfast and dinner takencare of every day, and trying some traditional japanese dishes was great. This place was the highlight of our time in jap. Would love to stay again one day.

I had a great time here. Breakfast and dinner are included (note that there are only traditional japanese meals, so be prepared for some repetition). The onsen experience was lovely and very inclusive, and they even included bus trips to and from kamikochi village and the nearest jr train station, matsumoto. If i could give 6 stars, then ill give it six stars.

This place is a great location to explore kamikochi and its surroundings. The rooms and lobby were spotlessly clean, which was crucial for my family because we stayed with crowsing infants. Although i am not an expert in japanese cuisine, ive had countless meals, including one of the best weve had during our recent jap. A special thank you to the staff for being so kind, welcoming, and helpful. We appreciate you having us! Our stay was wonderful!.

A very quiet but beautiful ryokan hidden in the mountains. The rooms are a little dated, but theyre clean and comfortable. Onsen was one of the best i had on my trip, however the water has plethora of sulphur content, so beware if you have sensitive noses. I had quite ten tattoos but was told it wasnt ok, he went mr. Later that evening and almost had the place to himself. Watching the sun set over the mountain was an amazing experience, and hey, its definitely worth going outside at night to take yelling at the moon when the sky is full. Its also worth staying more than one day and taking the bus to kamikochi to explore the trails there. Although ive been unable to walk long distances, the hotel staff assured me that it was worth the trip out for the short walk to the Kappa bridge, which she was absolutely correct. There is likewise onsite pickup service from one or the public bus stations, as well as u return service through one. Public bus costs just under Y 800.
