The personnel are courteous and helpful. Although some people don't speak English at all, others yelp most of the time. The onset is up to use at day 223. 3 nights here. a peaceful atmosphere. There is a curfew from am to am. During these times, the main entryway will be closed. And a fee for bathing onset of 150 yen per person per day is paid in advance. A day's check-out fee is also charged.

During our trip, we visited a number of restaurants in Sisko, and this was undoubtedly our favorite. The indoor onset was nothing special, but the outdoor onset was gorgeous. The water was quite hot, and it was surrounded by rocks. Spring water is supposed to beautify the skin, and it certainly lived up to that claim. After our soak, our skin felt quite soft and supple. If you go during lunchtime, you can order a delicious lunch for an additional 100 yen. Their speciality is pork that is grown on their own farm. There is even a play area and a resting area available to children. Very authentic! When our next trip in Honkyo, we'll undoubtedly return.

Ill dream of lounging in this onset lodge when I return to work! My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights as part of a ski vacation and really enjoyed ourselves. We dont speak Japanese but the staff were very kind, patient and helpful despite language barriers Some spoke a few words of English and otherwise we got by with gestures and bilingual signage. We stayed in a traditional tatami mat room that could use some updating as the wallpaper was peeling a bit but it was large by Japanese standards, clean, comfortable and had a private 12 bathroom toilet only showers are done in the gender separated onset shower room. Dinner must be ordered when the room is booked and we chose breakfast but not dinner. Breakfast was beautifully presented and included different items each day including small dishes, condiments, fish, miso soup, salad, etc. Some items were difficult to my palate and some were delicious, but all were fascinating and exotic! There is a free shuttle from the bus stop or train station in Sisko and the free shuttle from Annupuri ski resort. The staff is wellorganized and all transportation must be arranged at least a day in advance. We booked a 2 night stay through a third party. It was my fault for not reading the fine print of the reservation as it appears that the reservation was just for the room. The staff was amazing to pick up us from the bus stop at the same hour and drop us off to another nearby. When we checked in, we were told we couldn't change the reservation to include breakfast or dinner as it was fully booked. We were given recommendations from local restaurants and restaurants, which is obviously not much help considering the sub zero weather for walking or commute. Rothenburg is wonderful, as is the atmosphere. What I hope they can improve on is giving priority to staying guest for paid in-house meals, especially those with young children. It's helpful if guests can communicate in Japanese, but good luck to those who don't. Will return for the onsenrotenburo experience.

Not much to see inside, but it is peaceful outside, surrounded by boulders and snow on top. The water is hot and provides a soft feeling, no sulfur smell. 100 yen for the first thing, 200 yen for towel rental bring your own, and 100 yen for locker.
