I have never felt so at home away from home! The staff at Raicho Lodge went above and beyond to make our short stay as stress free and relaxing as possible! When we come back to Madarao I can’t imagine staying anywhere else! See you guys next season, Dan and Donna!

We had an outstanding time at Raicho Lodge. Three of us in Japanese room. Luke and Julie are great hosts and have excellent staff who will pick you up on arrival and departure from bus. Even if you do not stay book for dinner - sublime. One of the best restaurants in Madarao. The lodge is an easy walk to the slopes.

I had the best meals on the mountain by far. Absolute masterpiece. The staff was also wonderful, making the experience even more wonderful. We all did a great job. I strongly recommend this place. Make your reservations early because it's already full. It's totally worth it.

Such a lovely lodge! The staff made us feel at ease right away and went above and beyond to assist with whatever we required. The lodge itself is so well-designed and has a very welcoming vibe. The wood panels add an interesting dimension and remain in place throughout the entire structure. Our room was huge, and after a long day of snowboarding, the shower provided perfect heat and pressure. Because it is a few hundred meters from the slopes, the location is ideal for experienced skiersand snowboarders. Ski right in! Even lift passes are available at Rancho! When comparing the costs to the top ski resort, we saved a ton and were unable to believe the discount was incredible! The restaurant is amazing! Our stomachs surely appreciated it because the chef has an eye for detail. Every night, we ate there. Stay at Rancho. I guarantee that it will be the highlight of your trip!.

We spent 16 days travelling around Japan and found rancho to be the best place for our accommodation. The lodge is spotless and very comfortable in this cold weather, the rooms are quite comfortable, and the facilities are modern and clean. The crew is very friendly and eager to assist, arrange lift passes and luggage transfers, etc. You also get discount on madras ski passes, walking distance to the ski resort, free pickup from the bus stop, etc. The biggest highlight is that they run a restaurant on site, rancho supper club, and its chef is amazing. He was able to create a variety of amazing fusion dishes that combine local Japanese ingredients with European and Japanese cuisines. For us, it was very unusual, yet rancho was the most comfy and welcoming accommodation and the best meals during our trip around Japan tokyokyokyotokanazawanozawamadaraotokyo

I was travelling to Madurai on my snowboarding trip with friends, and we couldn't have been happier about the accommodations we chose for this part of our journey. We took full advantage of the complimentary beer, the fireplace bar service, and several meals in the restaurant right in the lobby while we were here. The employees were friendly and helpful, and they were kind enough to share their knowledge about the best places on the mountain with us. Overall, we had a wonderful time and will surely return.

We spent five nights at Rancho Lodge on a family vacation to Japan. We are a family of five with three children, and our lodging performed very well. The setting was excellent. Everything was just a brief walk away. The supper club fare was the best weve ever had in Japan! So delicious. Luke and his crew were polite and ready to assist with any needs you might have. The lodge was tidy, secure, and cozy. The community area around the fire was a great place to sit at the end of the day to relax and play cards and have a beer. Well certainly stay again if we visit Maharashtra again. highly advisable!.

コロナ禍明けで新しいオーストラリア人オーナーになり、着任1カ月のニュージーランド人スタッフなどもフレンドリーで親切でした。ゲストもインターナショナルで半分外国にいるようで、ウチの家族は英語で楽しく過ごしました。ただ、ロッジ前の駐車場から道路の雪掻きを自分たちでして車を動かしましたが、本来スタッフがもう少し雪掻きもがんばってほしいです。あと、部屋の壁が薄いのか隣りの部屋の声がよく聞こえました。

A good place to stay when skiing in Madarao with close proximity to the ski area. Friendly staff that does the little extra for the guests. Raicho Lodge is a newly remodeled skilodge with a cosy atmosphere but it can get a little bit noisy between the rooms and from the common area. In all a nice place to stay at!
