The hotel has a shuttle service. The hotel is accessed by taking a slight left off the main road and up a hill. Be prepared the building is very run down on the outside. The staff does not speak English, but no one else does on the island as there is no need. The staff are great and make your stay enjoyable by loaning us motorized bicycles daily. The beginning is a highlight, especially the private ones that you can book, without additional cost, and overlook the lake. Both private and communal ones are outside and overlook the lake, a great end to the day! Our room overlooked the lake and the parking lot across the street. Was clean and quiet. The tatami floors' huts are good quality, but we only used two for more comfort. Donna cover and yukattas are also good quality, and were changed daily with small towels and kept the room clean. The rooms would be much better with fly screens so that the windows could stay open longer. The accommodation is only worth three, but we will give it four because of the staff's efforts.
