This place has a lovely location with a strategic location, in a quiet neighborhood right outside the main area. Within 15 minutes' walk, all of the activities are accessible. The semi-outdoor bath is also quite comfortable. The service in the lounge is also very great. The taste of breakfast was really cared for. I feel really touched.

The location is very strategic and close to the beach. The food was great. I stayed in a 64 square meter traditional roman style room. The room was spotless and comfortable. The hotel is very meticulous, even placing all four of our toothbrushes in the same exact order and angle! We love the hospitality of Japan. Breakfast is also included in our stay. The food is wonderful, especially the roasted seaweed and melon. The arrangement of each dish is carefully planned and of high quality, making for a nice meal. We paid for the private hot tub, and it was worth the price!

Very strongly recommended. We stayed in a traditional Japanese-style room for 2 adults and 2 children. The rooms were nice and tastefully decorated, but the service staff's attention to detail was incredible! We loved the traditional wooden bathtub and the balcony to enjoy the crisp morning air. We were only here for 1 night and opted for half board with kiseki dinner and Japanese breakfast.

The hotel is in the middle of the main historical sights but is a serene oasis. The kiseki set menu in the evenings was incredible and really worth the money and I highly recommend trying the local beers and sake. Very modern and clean take on a traditional hotel without changing the old town's character or style.

This is a great hotel overall! If I could give this hotel 10 stars, I would. We were treated like rock stars from the moment we walked onto the property. This is a new hotel, making it difficult for the taxi driver from Kyoto train station to locate. It is located on a side street, but still a great location to walk to numerous attractions, such as the Lion District, temples, etc. The service here is impeccable! The staff waits for you from start to finish. The rooms are extremely spacious and have a comfortable bed and great facilities, robes, tatami, slippers, socks, coffee, tea, and water. The private entrance is a plus and very relaxing. Breakfast was excellent!
