The Onsen baths are great after a city jaunt although a bit of a walk to the baths. Beautiful building and the Japanese room us spacious.

9月22日からの一泊の予定で我が家3名と親戚夫婦2名の予約をしたが、台風17号の影響で高知空港着陸不能で関空に引き返してしまい、旅行自体がキャンセルになってしまった。やむを得ない事情とはいえ、当日のキャンセルに全額返金という対応をしてくださった。次回高知来訪の際は必ずこちらを予約させていただくのは言うまでもなく。

On the banks of the Yagami River, in the vicinity of the Mochi Castle, is a hotel in Mochi city. It is unquestionably one of the larger hotels, but it was less overcrowded, even on a Saturday night. I spent this evening on a road trip to Japan on the Shinobu pilgrimage. The motel is located in the city center, but in a tranquil location. It took me a while to navigate the maze of narrow streets to the entrance, but it was clear that after that, the employees took my car keys and parked my car for me, as is customary in upscale hotels, they charge a separate fee for parking, though it was 500 yen per night. The structure is a multistory concrete structure with both western and tatami rooms. Even though I was residing in a bedroom with a bed, it had a lovely seating area with Japanese decor elements I liked this arrangement. When deciding where to stay close to Mochi Castle, I also took a stroll in to the arcades, a shopping paradise where you can purchase anything you want. I had a good time before leaving, stroll through the hotel's garden, and take a peek inside an interesting historic building that is on the grounds of the yamauchi family shitayashiki Nagara. The hot springs were lovely but the standard rooms were small and looked like Japanese business hotels. The price will be higher but a large room is recommended.

The hotel is close to the castle. At this location, one of the prominent Samurai lived, and the old entrance gate is still in front of the hotel. The hotel itself is not brand new and not particularly modern, but we were satisfied. The personnel is friendly and professional. The initial pool, which is located on the hotel's riverside, is the highlight. It includes two pools, one of which is at 42 degrees Celsius, the other is at normal temperature inside, and the other is outdoors, such as in Rotenburg. The hot springs are salty and said to be good and healthy.

In the middle of Mochi, a very large urban hotel with a lot of Chinese tourists. The breakfast was served in a very large banquet hall, which was noisy and the rush to eat the warm croissants was a bit noisy.

娘の大学の卒業式の前泊の為宿泊させて頂きました。最初は夫婦2名で予約しましたが、急遽娘も宿泊する事になり、問い合わせた際に快く3名和室に変更してくださったり、当日、娘の着付けの送迎に当たり、車を出し入れしたり時間をオーバーした際にもとても配慮者があり、助かりました！朝食も庭園も立派で、良い思い出になりました。 ありがとうございました。
