The whole staffs welcome the guests and offer them professional and attentive services. The owner of the hotel and brother are not sitting back and supervising their staffs, but are contributing their parts to take care of the guests directly. They drive the guests to/from the station from/to the hotel; they do’t use a bus boy.

I have been waiting to visit the Yamagata The Takinami for years, and we finally made it this Christmas. It was a wonderful stay at the beautiful and stylish ryokan with great onsen soup/water. The room was beautifully designed with modern furniture, and the garden was covered in snow while soaking in the stone bath /onsen was a treat. The vegetables are locally grown and very organic and we enjoyed the quality rice served; the meals were scrumptious!! It was more than what we expected, and everything went above and beyond to make our stay very memorable! I want to come back for another visit when I am in Yamagata the next time! Thank you very much for making our stay comfortable and memorable!

We stayed at Yamagata Takinami on 6202018 thanks to a lot of friends and past guests. We discovered that this legendary, nearly 400 years old hotel that has just undergone a complete renovation has all modern amenities and services that provides clean, spacious, comfortable, convenient, and even luxurious services in addition to it's genuine Japanese Romans peaceful, courteous, and garden-like environment. Cuisine is carefully prepared with local fresh and organic ingredients, along with the famous yamagata beef, and top-notch services. They have a customized hot spring available in each private room, so while bathing in hot mineral water, we did enjoy the beautiful garden beneath. yamagata is a region that is worth exploring for many foreign visitors. Outside of its famous and well-known ski resorts and historic buildings, it is home to one of the top three beefs, the most sought-after cherries, and the oldest sake wineries.

The takinami is a nice cross between tradition and contemporary style in a historic location, and it has contemporary furnishings and attention to detail. The staff is rushing to your car after greeting you and swiping your luggage. Upon arrival, the personnel rush to your vehicle to get your luggage. A welcome beverage has many variations. You can also observe how a traditional dance is performed and, if so, how soba is created, which is highly advised. Coffee is free at 247. In the lounge area, there is a free selection of various sake and liquors from the time you stay. In your room, there are two free bottles of water and two cans of beer. The manager and staff are extremely cordial and accommodating. When we learned that our room didn't have a shower due to the chilly weather, this practically reduced the experience to a shared bathroom. We may change rooms for the next night, but this fact should have been made explicit at the time of booking. Especially in the winter, make sure to book an indoor shower room!.

Youll have a great stay here if you are with a Japanese person and enjoy Japanese culture. The property is very clean, the room we had was spacious, and the outside hotter was made of stone. The bathtub was facing a lovely Japanesestyle pond. The items in the room were all high-quality electronics, amenities, and furniture. The food here is very good and the chef will explain everything you are eating, if you sit at the counter for dinner. The hotel makes a special effort to utilize the food, building materials, and reflect the culture of Yamagata prefecture.

This is the most relaxing romantic experience with comfort and connect to chef team through delicious dishes and service team with passion promoting yamaha culture and home grown vegetables and rice. You can taste a moment of silence here and enjoy dinner and tour. The team is also sensitive to your needs and offers support and alternatives to suit your body health and special needs. The staff here are nice, friendly and talk to you about their life and make guests feel relaxed and restful. Takinami is the first place of relax of the year 2022 for small hotel category and it is worth visiting the people, onset and food!.
