An amazing stay in Yunokawa Onsen. Staff were so polite and helpful. We came earlier than the check-in time, but we were able to leave our luggage to explore the city. Parking is available off to the west side of the hotel towards the beach. We had a traditional Japanese style room with tatami mats, and the staff will make your bed for you usually around 7pm; if you don’t want them to come into your room, remember to leave the magnet “do not disturb” sign outside the door. The private onsen looking out to the beach was just perfect. The breakfast buffet offered a lot of different choices; really great seafood and the options change from each day. Small thing to note, but important for someone like me, is the TV has internet options to watch streaming services and YouTube!

久しぶりの夫婦水入らずの旅に利用しました。私は大浴場に行けなかったのですが、妻は堪能してました。私はオーシャンビューの部屋の露天風呂に浸かりましたが、津軽海峡越しのお風呂はとても気持ちよかったです。レストランの朝食でビュフェを利用しましたが、質量ともに堪能でき、2泊では全てを味わうことはできないほどでした。ホテルは、函館市街から少し離れてるのですが、路面電車まで歩ける距離で、春の散策がてら、頭上を飛ぶ飛行機にも遭遇できそうで、乗降場まで、それも一興でした。一件だけ残念だったのは、スタッフの方が研修中でちょっと客対応に不慣れだったことくらいです。経験を積んで、成長してくれることを願ってます。

スタッフの方の対応も良く、部屋も清潔で気持ち良く過ごす事が出来ました。ウェルカムドリンクも充実してましたし、朝食も種類が多く美味しかったです。

Having stayed here multiple times, I would say this is one of the best hotels in Japan. The breakfast is one of the best breakfast buffets and the hotel service is excellent. It is great to have a private balcony onsen at a reasonable price and with a very large room compared to other cities. The only inconvenience is that the hotel location is a bit far from the city centre, but you can easily get there via public transit or taxi with little traffic or delay. I would suggest two things for improving this hotel. First, they could use some English language labelling in your room (for explaining what certain buttons do, etc), given the high amount of foreign tourists visiting this hotel (from Asia and other areas, but they would all presumably be able to read English). Second, some kind of option to lower the temperature in the private onsen would be helpful because it is very hot. We realized you can use water from the cold tap in the shower to lower it a bit, but there should have been a little wash tub in the shower room that could be filled up and used for this purpose.

직원분들도 친절하고 객실도 깨끗했으며 무엇보다 공용 온천과 객실 내 자쿠지 온천도 정말 좋았습니다. 조식도 멋진 바다뷰를 보며 먹을 수 있어서 좋았고요! 이 호텔 덕분에 하코다테에 대한 기억이 좋네요😊 다음에 꼭 다시 방문하고 싶은 곳입니다.

Hotel itself was amazing but the surrounding area is not. Limited dining options in the area. Breakfast buffet was great! I loved our room with the private Onsen and its traditional tatami setting. The Onsen facing the ocean was calming. Highly recommended and I would come back to this hotel. Staff was very friendly, respectable and accommodating !

彼の誕生日祝いだと事前にお伝えしたら、スパークリングワインを用意してくださり感動しました…！部屋からの景色はシティビューでしたが、8階と高層階だったので2人でゆっくり過ごすことができました。ウェルカムドリンクはぶどうジュースがとても美味しかったです。女性風呂からの眺めはとても良く、一晩中入れたため様々な夕日だけでなく日の出など様々な景色を楽しめました。朝食も、種類豊富で手の込んだ料理から、海鮮丼やホットサンドも作れてとても満足できました。
