Nice location, staff, buffet, big cottages. The access road is pretty bad. Okay, if time is limited, Nakuru is nearby but not a place to stay if you're looking for animals and a real safari! Nature is like a city zoo, except the animals are wild.

Our bungalow was roomy and contemporary with a fabulous bathroom hot shower and a wonderful private terrace. Unfortunately, we did not have wifi in the bungalow but it worked fine on the terrace and all other common hotel areas. But the biggest plus was the food at the restaurant! Everything we tried was delicious. One thing to improve would be the road leading to the premises. Its truly mind boggling how such a luxurious and beautiful place still relies on a road youd otherwise only find in the most remote parts of any safari park.

I highly recommend this place. I stayed in a hut room, the room was very spacious and clean with a view of Lake Ecelinaita with a view of the flamingos and stalks. The staff was helpful and friendly and also the food was amazing. We will stay there again.

We had a great weekend here! The staff is outstanding and very welcoming! Charles and Sheila deserve special mention because they made us feel at home. Our room was lovely, had a hot shower, and had excellent internet connections. The meals were delicious and fresh! On the last day, after having planned with some colleagues, my partner was pleasantly astonished after dinner by having a birthday cake accompanied by song and dance. I can't say enough good things about this place! I will certainly return.

The lake and surroundings of this lodge are simply amazing. Although we only spent one night here, we have only positive things to say about it. Honestly, getting to know Maitre was our favorite thing about this lodge. I apologize to Maitre. He is the man who runs the lodge's gift shop. He is known as a Giraffe Man because he is a big fan of Giraffes and even carving them on wood. His work is available at the store. The cuisine served good taste.
