Eine wunderschöne, überschaubare und ruhige Anlage im britischen, altmodischem Kolonialstil Da die Anlage etwas außerhalb des Ortes liegt, ( 15 Min zu Fuß), hat man einen fantastischen Panorama Blick. Die Häuser sehen aus wie in Hobbiton. Alles ein wenig charmant in die Jahre gekommen und man fühlt sich zurückversetzt. Alles liebevoll angelegt, Blumen, Figuren, Fotos etc. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und waren 3 Nächte dort.

The ambience and english old style accommodation really attracted me to this place. The place is full of greeneries, flowers and chirping birds, secluded from the busy touristy place. I can stay all day here just chilling in the garden.

I LOVED OUR STAY AT BALA'S! The place was surreal like out from a storybook. It was like staying at Snow White's cottage. The were LOTS OF greenery, red plaid tablecloth with yummy homemade looking breakfast (and sometimes breakfast with the famous Mr Bala, himself.) A very nice and warm man, made us feel very welcomed! He even does inspection around the house, as he is very involved with renovations and upgrades etc! Okay, so coming back to the rooms we stayed in. Interior wise we were contented with the look and feel, clean but minor cardboard defects, and a weird hot water supply where it changes if you don't know how to use it. (Trick is : to turn the knob to your desired heat, then pull the knob. Otherwise it will get suddenly ice cold!) Either than that. I LOVED THE EXPERIENCE! Lovely Tudor with a beautiful patio! Alongside with the Cameron Highlands weather! It's Perfect! 👌

The setting of this hotel was fantastic. Super gardens and great views. The room was very spacious and with a place to sit outside, one could really enjoy the setting. All very relaxing with a great feeling of colonial times. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

The best scones in the cambria hills are at balas chalet. Lovely scones, and their apple pie is also fantastic. However, parking is challenging, and there isnt enough service staff. The front desk is also covered by the waitress, so anticipate delays in taking orders, etc. The tea tasted great, it was expensive, but it was well worth it.

Overall, my threeday stay was quite comfortable, but it could have been better. Family traveling with two children under 5 years old. Balas offers a Tudorstyle chalet at affordable prices per stay at ch, and the location was excellent, being only a 5minute drive from tanahrata town. When i arrived, i was greeted by mr. Bala himself. Parking spaces are adequate, but they are designated in a sloppy driveway, which poses challenges for families with children to unload luggage. Checkin went smoothly. We were given a superior queen breakfast room. I rated it three stars due to its condition for a building built in 1934. It has a rustic feel to it and enjoys the surroundings. However, due to chs weather (dampness, the room has strong mildew and hot water intermittent, which is a major turnoff. Hopefully, the owners will look into investing in a better central hot water system, as it is essential for cold weather resorts. Do bring insect repellent, as mosquitoes are spotted in the area. The television in the room was not equipped with any channels, but it did have a builtin usb port. Prepare some movies saved into a usb drive if you plan to stay in the room. There are no refrigerators in the room to store chilled drinks or perishables. Plan your perishable purchases on the last day of your stay.

I recommend staying. I brought my family here. Stayed in the family suite. The place is super awesome for those who love highland with a cottage concept. Meet the owner. Me, my wife and my kids got the chance to talk to him.

The tea menu is quite expensive, but once served, you get back what you pay for in terms of service and experience. Very nice environment, privacy, clean and well maintained. Room rate between rm 200 and 800.

Saya tidak suka perhatian resepsionis, kami datang untuk minum teh sore dan harganya tampak selangit sepadan dengan apa yang saya dapatkan (teh dari kantong, sconenya sangat enak dan harganya hampir 7 euro (seperti di Swiss) Tempat ini juga tampak seperti tempat yang berpura-pura menjadi sesuatu yang istimewa.
