Communication was great, from prior to check-in until check out. We're glad they kept the place "rustic" and not modernize it. You will get nature, if that's what you're looking for. Thanks for a great stay. Will definitely be back. PS. This property is pet friendly

What you see is what you get. The place looks exactly like the photo. Being so close to nature, the air is so fresh and cool that I had one of my best night sleep even without the aircon. My kids really enjoyed the pool and they like the dinner prepared by the kitchen too. The staffs are easy going and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay.

Stay 1 night at Perling Air for break away from city. Near swimming pools. Provide fully equipped kitchen, can BBQ outside of room but charcoal chargeable RM20. The Kitchen area roof slightly leaking when raining. Staff Friendly. Overlook is good.

Weve traveled to these areas a few times in the past, and we decided to try this place because Awanmulan is no longer petfriendly. On our first visit in May 2022, we remained at peeling. Even though this house wasnt petfriendly, we had a great time there and decided to return in July.. Twice! With our two canine friends! 5 of the 7 cottages are petfriendly. Furthermore, the stay was in Berembun, which seems to be the favorite here since the pool is just outside the property. The largest, twostory tempus, was our last visit. We had to make reservations on three spots to access two midsized pools, which was excellent for privacy. The pools are not open to pets. There is a restaurant, but you had to make reservations in advance. Now, the great thing about the sun is that there is a functional kitchen with utensils, cooking oils, and so on. Free, so this is fantastic for you who enjoys making your own meals! Although our first two stays were fantastic, there was a karaoke party going on in the next property, which was awful! And it wasnt even a weekend! In this area, rates are going up, so plan ahead.

The restaurant was so nice with its convenient location. We can easily get to the resort via the commuter train and the sun arrange the taxi for us to and from the train station. I stayed here for 3 nights on my honeymoon and had a great experience. Having insects and lizards as part of the experience of being in the rainforest is natural, so be prepared. It was so much easier to get mosquito bites than staying in a hotel, so I would suggest covering up and bringing bite cream. Breakfast was so satisfying.

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon and had a great experience. More like closing than a hotel you will be completely surrounded by nature. of course, there will be bugs and lizards, because it's just part of the experience being in the rainforest, so be prepared for that. Almost impossible to avoid mosquito bites despite lots of repellant, so I would recommend covering up and bringing bite cream with you. We were in the Lana House and it's really beautiful and secluded, you have your own private bridge leading to the house and a panoramic view of the forest which was stunning. Breakfast was fantastic, perhaps the best we've had in Malaysia, and special thanks to the entire staff who was just fantastic. Managers were very responsive to requests and easy to contact by Whatsapp. The resort was also very easy to get to from el we took the commuter train and then the sun arranged a taxi to and from the station.

Had a pleasant and most relaxing stay at The Dusun. Booked into the Perling house which was situated amidst the forest overlooking the forest reserve. The pleasures of being able to read a book accompanied by the sounds of the jungle is non describable. The only thing to improve is probably to fix netting at all openings as bugs tend to fly in at night while sleeping. Even without it, I would still give this stay a five star rating. Totally recommended for those looking for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Don't forget the bug repellant!

ホテルのようなところではありません。山の中のロッジです。だから良いのです。テレビも何も無い。食材を持って行ってテラスでバーベキュー。森の中を散歩。レストランではローカルフードやビールもあります。少しアウトドアが好きな方なら是非おすすめ。アウトドアや虫が嫌いな人にはおすすめしません。

Stayed at the Perling Air. Really amazed by the ambience and layout. On the first night, our neighbour left their bbq food exposed, this caused a rat to run into our room's ceiling beams, thankfully it didn't drop on us. Breakfast provided was sumptious and tasty. Friendly staff who assisted with our queries. Our movable shower head was broken. Felt like it could have been repaired previously. Tip would be to minimise lights at night as this attracts bugs. Good to bring yr own lemongrass repellent or essential oil diffuser to ward off all kinds of bugs and fat lizards. Overall, we loved the private setting and the serenity of The Dusun as we treasure peace and tranquillity, unlike some overcrowded and noisy resorts. Will make a come back. Be prepared to drive up steep and narrow road to reach destination.

Good place for city get-away, but do prepare snacks because middle of night to drive out for convenience store is far and danger in dark if you not familiar. Dinner and breakfast is well prepared in advance, somehow we find the chicken rendang is very very very salty .. thumbs up for the Nasi Lemak breakfast.

Tentang The Dusun

The Dusun is a collection of jungle lodges nestled in lush greenery and overlooking stunning views of a Malaysian rainforest.

The Dusun is the ideal Malaysian holiday destination for nature lovers who enjoy privacy and space, with stunning rainforest views.

In 1984, our family began planting trees on this 12-acre lot. We now have over two hundred fruit trees, two forest walks, seven rainforest villas, two pools, deer, chickens and vegetables.
