Villa Nautica Paradise Island

This modern luxury hotel lies on the famous 1 kilometre-long and 200 metre-wide, paradisiacal island of Lankanfinolhu. It is located on the eastern edge of the Northern Malé Atoll. Guests here are able to enjoy the dreamlike landscape consisting of tropical plants, palm trees, a light coral beach and a beautiful lagoon. The local reef lies about 300 m away, whilst the outer reef is 10 minutes away by the dhoni. The airport is just 20 minutes away by speedboat.

The establishment comprises a total of 260 accommodation units. Guests of the establishment are welcomed in the lobby, which has a 24-hour reception and a 24-hour check-out service. Services such as a safe and currency exchange facilities make for a comfortable stay. Internet access and wireless internet access (for a fee) are available in the public areas. Gastronomic options include a restaurant, a café and a bar. Guests can buy holiday mementos from the souvenir shop. Shopping facilities are available. The grounds of the establishment feature a playground and an attractive garden. Additional features of the establishment include a TV room and a playroom. Among the additional services available are medical assistance, room service, a laundry and a hairdressing salon. A shuttle service is offered.

All accommodation units feature air conditioning, a fan, a kitchen and a bathroom. Most rooms additionally feature a balcony or a terrace. Some of the accommodation units also feature a side sea view. Each accommodation unit features a double bed or a king-size bed. A safe and a minibar also feature. The accommodation units offer a range of amenities, including tea and coffee making equipment. Each accommodation unit offers internet access, a telephone, a TV, a radio, a stereo system, a CD player, a DVD player and wireless internet access. Guests will also find slippers provided. Each of the bathrooms features a shower, a bathtub, a spa bath, a hairdryer and bathrobes.
Sports/Entertainment
The establishment offers an outdoor pool and a children's pool. A sun terrace, sun loungers and parasols are available. A hot tub provides an opportunity for relaxation. The establishment offers a range of outdoor sporting opportunities, including beach volleyball, volleyball and basketball, or for a fee, tennis and fishing. Many types of sport are available, including watersports such as water skiing, windsurfing, jet skiing, a banana boat, canoeing, sailing, catamaraning, diving and aquafit. For a fee, kayaking and snorkelling can also be enjoyed. The establishment offers numerous indoor sporting opportunities, with activities such as a gym, table tennis, pool/billiards, darts, squash and gymnastics, as well as badminton for a fee. A spa, a sauna, a steam bath, massage treatments and Ayurveda are among the wellness options offered. For an additional fee, a beauty salon is also available. Entertainment options and leisure facilities include live music and a disco.
Meals
The establishment offers a wide range of bookable meals and board options, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, B & B, half board, full board and All-inclusive. The establishment additionally offers snacks. Alcohol-free drinks and alcoholic drinks are available.

PCR testing facilities

Upon arrival, the guest services team would check and inform if any guest needs to book these services. Testing requirements are set by some international airlines to allow boarding the plane.

PCR Samples are collected at the hotel, and the tests are run at ADK Hospital in Male’.

Cost of the test per person. USD 175 (Net)

PCR sample to be collected at the resort clinic and sent to ADK Hospital in Male' (2 days before departure)
All test results for the collected samples are expected within 24hrs.

NOTICE: Southern African Travel Update
Effective from 28th November 2021 Maldives has issued a travel ban for all travellers from seven South African Countries including; South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Lesotho, Eswatini and Mozambique. The travel ban follows the announcement by the World Health Organisation of a new Covid19 variant in South Africa named Omicron, which has been flagged as a concern. Travellers that have visited the listed Southern African countries within the prior 14 days, including those that transit for over 12 hours in one of the seven countries, will not be permitted to enter the Maldives.
The Maldives continues to be an attractive destination due to its 'one island, one resort' concept. The resorts prioritise health and safety in accordance with the latest guidelines set by HPA Maldives. All precautionary measures are taken to ensure guests stay is safe and truly unforgettable.
All Villa resorts are fully prepared, should any covid case arise. Sun Island Resort operates an HPA approved PCR testing lab facility on island, with Paradise Island Resort and Royal Island Resort offering PCR testing on island for all guests should a PCR test be required or prior to travelling from the Maldives.


PCR TESTS BEFORE TRAVEL

Effective from 5th March 2022, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) have announced all vaccinated travelers arriving to the Maldives are no longer required to present a negative PCR test upon arrival.

This is applicable to individuals who has completed the prescribed dose(s) of Covid-19 vaccine approved by the Maldives Food & Drug Authority or the World Health organization (WHO) and at least 14 days have passed since. Booster dose(s) are not required to be eligible for this exemption.

Children (above one year) who are not eligible for vaccination and individuals who have not completed the prescribed dose(s) of a Covid-19 vaccine, will still be required to present a negative PCR upon arrival to the Maldives, for which the sample must be taken no longer than 96 hours before the departure from the fist port of embarkation.

Tourists who spend their holiday in resorts in inhabited islands are no longer required to do a PCR test when departing from the respective inhabited islands.

Please be informed that the note regarding the pool closure has been lifted. The pool is now open for use.
