We stayed at this lovely little book with 14 friends that were family run. Cosy and comfortable but 2 rooms are mezzanine so bear that in mind as you have to negotiate steep stairs going up to bed and coming down to use the bathroom. Perfectly located to walk into the medina and to Jemma El Faa.

Stay in this place as this hotel is near the Medina and has many good restaurants. The owner is very friendly and helpful and the maids tidy this place every day. They have a good breakfast that will make you start the day.

Three of us joined a party to enjoy a long weekend at read 5 sens. We made a reservation for a cab through the read a few days in advance, agreed on the fee in advance, and easily located the driver. The driver was a tremendous help, and escorted us to the read's entryway. A tiny, peaceful street is in the center of the town. Almost anywhere is within walking distance to the medina, though we frequently take cabs out for supper in the evenings. Expect to be close to neighborhood people going about their daily business because it is in a traditional, low-key section of town. It was fine after we realized some details, just very hot and humid after showering. In the nearby yard, a cockerel was also quite busy on the mornings and early mornings. The following coffee, mint tea, yogurt, bread, boiled eggs, and pancakes made up the modest yet delicious meal. The read was tidy and organized. There were many social spaces and people conversing. On the top floor, we enjoyed a lovely breakfast outdoors. The Read owner was really accommodating and assisted us with taxis and boarding passes, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, it was a lovely experience and a book I would suggest.
