We stayed at dovecote house bandB for four days and couldnt have been a better start to our journey through new zealand. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was very nice, the breakfast was delicious with all homemade jams and jelly and wayy too many tea flavors. The garden is very beautiful and the surroundings are quiet and peaceful, which was perfect as we were still getting used to the jetlag. We enjoyed the dinner made by nathan, who even made a beautiful bouquet with flowers from the garden because it was our anniversary that day. Oh and not to mention the cats, they were so cute and curious, we loved them. Nathan and tim are great hosts and we really enjoyed staying in their beautiful house.

We spent a night at dovecote house, it was wonderful to stay in a beautiful home with so many personal touches that gave us a genuine New Zealand experience. Nathan and Tim were very welcoming, and the gardens are stunning. A unique opportunity to experience a stunning home, thank you.

A lovely little retreat. Excellent hospitality, food, breakfast and dinner, and surroundings. A lovely little spot to take your loved one away for a little rest and relaxation. The gardens and homes are stunning. We appreciate your wonderful stay away from our usual mayham. Looking forward to our next retreat. The old 1880 bath and shower were also a plus. Our recent trip to auckland was made even better by our stay at dovecote house. From the moment we arrived until we left, nan and tim took care of us and spoiled us. We adored all the extras, including being picked up and dropped off at the airport, supper, and massage. I even bought a plant! Dovecote house is adorable, and it doesnt seem like it is close to a big city. Well be back.

The hosts, nathan and tim, were incredibly kind and welcoming. The perfect way to end the day was with a delicious chicken supper and chocolate selfsaucing pudding. Nathan made or preserved a delicious batch of freshly made bread to toast along with a selection of homemade jams, meusli, and fruit, all of which were delicious. When i arrived, a quarter of jelly was being prepared, and i couldnt resist buying a container to take home. I frequently wake up for a midnight coffee, but i slept soundly on the oh so comfortable bed all night long. A really nice place to stay, highly recommended, the hospitality is outstanding.

The atmosphere was peaceful and serene. I thoroughly enjoyed the garden tour, it was highly informative and provided valuable insights. I thoroughly enjoyed the homecooked dinner and continental breakfast, featuring homemade bread, assorted homemade jellies, and jams. We stayed here for a week, and the house is charming and cozy. We had the most amazing breakfast, homemade muesli, an assortment for everyone (glutenfree, keto, etc. Nathans homemade jams and jellies were enjoyed on the large whole wheat bread, which inspired me to make bread! Nathan and tim were very accommodating to all our needs, 10/10 for all your amazing efforts. From canada.

I cant wait to go back. I had a wonderful four days at the lovely dovecote cottage. Its a home away from home! Nathan and tim went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible. The room was perfect, the breakfast was delicious, and the location peaceful a liferenewing escape.

We had a great time staying with tim and nathan. We had such a great time during our breakfasts, especially the apricots, and the evening meal we had together was fantastic. We would recommend this wonderful stay to anyone. We stayed in the garden view room which was clean and beautiful. We spent the first night of our honeymoon at do ecote house and everything was amazing! The nicest and most thoughtful hosts. Great meals. Its definitely worth having dinner at the hotel as well as the included breakfast. We loved the beautiful gardens and all the cats to cuddle with. Its so close to the beach and shops and food.
