When we were stranded in Picton by a ferry cancellation, we booked a room at Palmira Lodge. We are glad we did! The couple that own and manage this place went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Rooms are unique, clean, and comfortable. Very convenient to the ferry terminal (and the lovely view from our room was an unexpected plus). We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We loved staying at Palmira Lodge. It was located near the marina, on a quiet street. We loved the hot tub and the rooms were clean and comfortable.The breakfast room was cheery and there was lots of choice.

Palmira Lodge has a wonderful heated pool and spa bath. That was great at the end of a day of travel. The marina and a pub was in easy walking distance. Very convenient for the ferries also. Thanks Glenda and Bob for a great stay.

Kamen aufgrund Verspätung der Fähre gegen Mitternacht an. Zimmer war offen wie angesprochen. Frühstück war gut. Konnten den augenscheinlich sauberen Pool leider aufgrund Zeitproblem nicht nutzen. Alles macht einen sauberen und gepflegten Eindruck. Betten sehr gut.

Lovely place to stay. Very friendly hosts. Gorgeous outlook. Roomy accommodation. Swimming pool and spa. Breakfast provided. Jolly Roger restaurant within walking distance has excellent and decently priced meals. We would definately stay here again.

Bob and Glenda couldn't be more welcoming, helpful or friendlier. The unit was immaculate and very easy to find and a short distance from town. I would thoroughly recommend Palmira Lodge if you were visiting Picton for any length of stay.

We booked the studio room which is downstairs. Beautifully decorated room as well as the communal lounge/dining/kitchen. Very clean and tidy. Very friendly hosts. Breakfast was a bonus. Heated saltwater pool and spa. Very nice stay

Nice little boutique hotel. We booked the studio without looking at the details. The owners disclosed its limitations immediately upon arrival and offered options. We decided to keep it and it worked fine. The graciously allowed us to put food in the community kitchen. The pool was lovely! A perfect temperature and in pretty gardens. Owner was very diligent in checking in to ensure we were happy. Enjoyed a game of Scrabble in the evening and a pleasant breakfast in the morning.

Clean and comfortable with a complimentary Continental breakfast. This property would be ideal for a family as there is a spa and swimming pool available for guest use.

This was indeed an interesting and quirky stopover, as were the owners. 😉 Lovely pool and spa outside, but of course not able to use at the mo, not their fault. Included breakfast, was very good, and appreciated. A welcome stop from an uncomfortable camper van bed!!

The 2 drawbacks i have were: 1) 4 post bed was made up of a small box spring underneath a larger mattress. The result being the mattress hanging over the sides into space. Very uncomfortable to sleep with 2 people. 2) Toilet paper came in a large industrial roll that tore easily making it difficult to access. Everything else was great.

overpriced for what it was, essentially a B&B without the breakfast...the breakfast was there, but in a communal area and you had to get it yourself..and was a continental b/fst only..... room was fine... and clean...

Right from when i walked in i felt uncomfortable with the host. We didnt want to stay but it was nonrefundable. The motel was beautifully clean and modern but i felt the host was very rude. She asked me if i was vaccinated and when i said no she told me i was naughty for not being vaccinated. I had to bite my tongue and ignore her comment. In our room there was a queen size bed and a single size bed. When the lady took me up to our room she said "dont use that bed" and pointed to the single bed. We didnt use the bed but as far as im concerned we paid for the room we can use the bed if we want. The main reason i also chose this motel was because you were provided breakfast. When we went to have it, there was two choices of cereal and then a container with bread and croissants in it. We were going to have toast but there were only jams and marmalades. No peanut butter or marmite. Very disappointed in our stay. We will not be going back and we will definitely not be recommending to others to stay there.
