This prestigious property offers peace, tranquility, and private lodging and is a true and idyllic escape from city life. The grounds are meticulously maintained and feature lovely trees, streams, and wildlife, including two very graceful peacocks. Our room had a large picture window overlooking a lovely garden scene. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was large and classy. Breakfast was served every morning at a time to suit and was skillfully prepared by hosts Kathy and Grant and offered a choice of cooked or continental cuisine. We can highly recommend this lodge to anyone seeking comfort and pure relaxation after a four-night stay.

We were ushered into peace and luxury as soon as we walked through the swan gates. Kathy and Grant, the ideal hosts, were friendly and accommodating, and they had fantastic culinary talents. For her birthday, my wife and I remained for two nights and will definitely come back. The lodge exceeded expectations in every way, including the suites' top-notch decor and spacious grounds. We were looking for a peaceful retreat by the river while sipping a glass of wine and watching the swans and ducks. Kathy made my wife a special cheese cake and made me an amazing cheese board, just 5 stars, for both evenings we had dinner. Thank you, Kathy and Grant, for making this a special place that should be on everyone's bucket list.

What more could I say? This place is wonderful. We had a large family gathering before a wedding the next day. Lunch was served in a sizable marquee. Freshly dug new potatoes, cold roast lamb beef, all prepared to perfection, condiments, coleslaw, leafy green salad, roast vegetable salad and more. Fresh berries, homemade paloma, semiwiped cream, and yogurt ice cream are the good things. The best home cooks are great hosts. Excellent setup with lawn games. My daughter, whose son will soon be coming here, stayed here because weeding is close by.

Cathy and Grant were wonderful hosts. They provided us space, but they were friendly and kind. Our cooked breakfasts were delicious. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and the design was beautiful. The lodge is located on warlike grounds, with a river running directly on the property. Lots of beautiful birds singing and flying around, and a resident dog who was friendly too. This far exceeded our expectations.

I enjoyed my experience and have recommended this place to everyone I know. My brother and family enjoyed our visit. We felt like family, and it was just like our parents' Christmas when we were young. The food was delicious.
