Had self contained unit which seemed brand new. Helpful staff and pickup right at driveway. Charge for shuttle luckily we could hike next day as I would not want to be stuck out here waiting. Nothing out here. You come to hike

It is a great place to stay in a self contained apartment even though it is quite far from a lot of places. It will be awesome if a coffee/tea facility is provided during the stay. Overall a pleasant place for a holiday trip.

Very pleasant stay. Owner was friendly and helpful. Make sure you bring your own sleeping bag or you will have to hire some bedding.

This is a budget camp ground/holiday park. We stayed in a two room unit which slept 5. The accommodation was a little cramped but tidy. The facilities are largely communal but well looked after. There is quite a mix of European and American visitors which makes meal times interesting. There is never a shortage of conversation if you are interested.

Bonne base pour faire la randonnée du Tongariro, bon rapport qualité prix. Réservation des navettes pour la randonnée possible depuis l'hôtel la veille pour le lendemain.

Cabin was way smaller than expected but everything was clean. Communal toilets were exceptionally clean. Take your own pillow if you get a cabin.

Not my first choice for a snowboarding trip as this place is a bit of a trip from National Park village (no walking to the pub). But not far from Whakapapa skifield and very handy to the Tongariro Crossing. Also very good value.

The facility and staff were great, the only thing that im not happy is mobile network availability no signal, though this is beyond control of the management of the facility.

Although This is a very basic holiday park, the people who run it were fantastic. Super friendly and helpful. Because of them, I would stay here again.
