This camp is a bit off the main drag where most of the other sahib sands camps are. And that was the main reason I chose it. The camp is about 5 am in the desert. I recommend calling the camp staff and having them meet you off the highway to lead you to the camp. Ex gear with tires deflated to 1. 5 bar is recommended for a smooth passage. The room is huge, spacious, and has good shower pressure. The provided meals are plentiful and delicious.

What a wonderful place to spend a night! Super attentive staff, basked in the warm glow and emptiness that is the desert. It is so quiet at night, you wouldn't believe - like no other. We were made to feel very welcome, like family, and the home cooked food was (for a a foodie) bloody tasty! That biryani was 👌

Overall, a great option to stay in the sands with a comfortable bed and a hot shower! More of an open-concept hotel than a campground. The rooms were large and equipped with modern furniture and a private bathroom. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious. It is simple to walk into the sands to see the sun come up at dusk or watch the stars at night. If using a kwd vehicle, the rest of the journey to the camp will cost 1015 Omr, which is a little expensive. Follow google maps if you have a kwd and it will direct you there.

Having kwd for hire is essential, as I stayed in the last small village with paved roads. Kwd is required as, otherwise, you will get stuck in thick sand. The villas are non-complimentary, in my opinion, this reflects the true atmosphere of the desert. However, warm water is provided, a buffet dinner and breakfast are both included, and both are excellent. The location's surroundings are stunning, you can walk, drive around in your car completely off-road, or take a camel tour. There is no light pollution, so the night sky is breathtaking. Everyone is welcoming. The rooms are spotless, and the mattress is very comfy.

Overall, if you want a comfortable bed and a hot shower, this is a fantastic place to stay in the sands. More like an open plan hotel than a camp. The rooms were spacious, with contemporary furniture and a private bathroom. Both dinner and breakfast were provided and delicious. Walking into the dunes allows you to see the sunset, sunrise, or the moon rise at night. If you come by car, the remainder of the way to the camp will cost 1015 omr, which is a bit pricey. Follow google maps and it will direct you there if you have a kwd.
