We chose the chalet as we were traveling with our entire family, including two dogs. On the listing it says chalet may not be great for kids but looking at the pictures it seemed okay. Upon getting the email to access the house there were instructions for how to reset the water to the house when you run out, and how tot e program the janky aircon that doesn’t turn on. The parking is to be desired but there was a single spot for a car, the deck leading to the chalet is broken, rotten and very dangerous. The entrance door and code worked fine. Upon entering it was realized that the upstairs was open to the first floor and was just a giant hole. The stairs themselves would have been fine, but upstairs there was no railing, no markings, just a giant hole around the stairs. Going back to look at the photo this was only visible partially in one photograph on the listing and buried in the other 44. There was one 5gal water jug of water for 4 nights with 5 people, and no cleaning supplies. The final straw was the twin beds in the downstairs room, there were huge mold and soggy stains on it, which we only found after waking up wet from the moisture in the mattress. We left after one night and the property manager (who was responsive beforehand) did not answer any messages or formal complaints from hotels.com. We lost out on 3 nights when we left early due to safety and cleanliness, with no refund due to them ghosting everyone. Would not recommend this place or this property manager.
