The room was clean and spacious. The bedding was very comfortable. The noise from nearby discotecas does continue until 3-4 am. The shower in unit#3 does not drain properly so water spills onto the bathroom floor when you open the shower door.

The glass isn't as noise proof as stated in ad... This is a nightlife district, so expect noise later at night. But price was reflected to that.

Spacious and in a busy night life location

O local é maravilhoso. A casa é ampla e centralizada. A zona tem vários restaurantes e fica na zona do governo. O apartamento é brm decorado e equipada com todos os utensílio necessários. Camas confortáveis e super limpo. Pontos negativos: no acesso ao apartamento poderia ser mais iluminado. Como é tipo uma vila, a iluminação a noite é muito pouca; Outro ponto um pouco negativo é que o apartamento fica encima de uma balada. A noite a música retumba dentro do apartamento, mesmo ele tendo os vidros a prova de som. Outro ponto é que o anfitrião não fica no local para entregar as chaves, ele é de outro país. Não tivemos problemas com isso na chegada, pois na hora que chegamos estavam terminando de arrumar. Mas pegamos un casa de franceses, que chegou no final do dia e não conseguiu abrir o compartimento onde fica a chave e nem estava conseguindo falar com o anfitrião. Mas no geral nossa estada foi muito boa no apartamento e no Panamá

Krånglig, virtuell incheckning. Vi fick fel kod till nyckelskåpet och var tvungna att ringa ett nummer i Peru för att komma in. Lägenheten i sig är utmärkt med en stor altan. MEN... Letar man efter ett normalt, lugnt boende ska man inte bo här. Byggnaden är omgiven av diskotek som stänger kl 4 på morgonen. Fram till dess är det hög musik, skrik och bilar som tutar hela natten.

My husband and I had a bad experience at La Moderna by Wynwood House. Just wanted to leave comments here so other tourists know what they are getting into before making the reservation. The good: 1. Price is reasonable 2. Online customer service is attentive with good English 3. Rooms are spacious since what we booked is an apartment The bad: 1. Immediate neighborhood is rundown and shady. The nearby streets are rather dirty. 2. When we checked in our unit, we immediately felt there was a strong unpleasant smell in the room. It felt a bit better after we turned on the AC unit, but the smell was still there. 3. The inside of the rooms look old and worn out. It doesn’t look like what is the pictures at all. The couch looks really old and crummy. We didn’t dare to sit on it. The ugly: At night before we went to sleep, very loud music started from a bar right next to this building. Cars constantly honked on the street because of traffic. When we checked operating hours of the bar it doesn’t close until 4am. When we checked the balcony doors they don’t lock even after we tried a few times. We used ear plugs and tried to sleep but the music was so loud it felt like the bed was trembling with the music. We knew the hotel is located in the area with lively nightlife but we didn’t expect booming music so loud from right next door and we couldn’t possibly go to sleep. We already pre-paid the two night stay but we couldn’t wait until 4am, so we decided to book another hotel and left.
