This is our second visit to the restaurant El Trio on the ground floor as part of Act Plus. After one visit to the club Admiral Restaurant on the first floor. The latter was fine, but we cannot say the same about the lobby eatery. First the positive aspects, the staff is very friendly and helpful. But then the negative points dominate. First of all, the menu card is quite limited. I would call the place a bistro rather than a restaurant. second of five red wines only one or two were offered. third, the food, beef tenderloin of very good quality arrived lukewarm, and by the time we were halfway through the meat, it was cold. The reason is that the plates are not preheated. I asked for French executive chef cyril seen every time I was in this hotel, but he didn't bother to show up. I have known him for years from other restaurants in metro Manila.

The service and attention to clients is excellent by each and every employee during my stay! When I arrived, there was an unplanned power outage, but the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was at ease and looked after. The issue was resolved within a few hours, but the staff offered apologies and compensation in the form of a hotel food and drink allowance and delivered a complimentary room service with fresh iced tea, fruit, and patisserie to my room. Although my stay was only short, I wish I had stayed longer to take advantage of the hotel and its amenities. The pool is amazing, the sun lounger was so comfortable, and the staff was once more attentive and helpful. The staff and facilities at the gym and spa were also above five stars! Thank you to every single employee at the Admiral Hotel Manila for making my brief stay the best!.

The food is excellent, and the beds are heavenly. The internet connection is also powerful. Because I wasn't in love with Manila's overwhelmingly oppressive nature, I didn't much outside because I couldn't venture outside. My only criticism was that there were no tables at the Coconutgrove for walking. It's odd that hotels, especially those going to the bar at 910 p.m., where very few people were seated at the reserved tables, didn't have tables reserved.

Overall a great experience, sure the rooms are nice, and the restaurants are good. The views are amazing. Yet, as others have said, it's the people that make the difference. I would add one more thing. You can't go wrong with any of the actor hotels in metro Manila, and I have stayed at all of them. The novel in ac the Fairmount raffles complex in Malay, the Sofitel on the ocean, the Joy Post in Ortigas, and even the mercury in ortigas before it sadly closed. I have been traveling for 50 years and still stay in hotels over 300 nights a year. The Admiral stands out as having the best trained, most genuine, and most friendly staff I've ever encountered in a hotel. Every single one of them greets you by name. They all name introduce themselves. They all offer to assist you with whatever you need. You can tell they care about and love their job. Wonderful service in the executive lounge and throughout the hotel. Yes, the rooms are nice, and the restaurants are good. The views are excellent. However, as others have said, it's the people who make the difference. Another thing I would add.
