If you're looking to get away from the resort for a relaxing stroll with some added local culture, insight into local farming, and a little animal one-on-one, take the chance to visit this farm. We were lucky enough to be toured around by the farm manager, so we got a few extras, plus we were the only ones on the tour, so it was very peaceful and personal. We got to feed ostrich, ducks, fish, and turkeys. After the tour was finished, we had a fantastic lunch that included all the organically grown on the farm. It was delicious and very authentic with a fantastic view of the country! Our ride back to the resort was late, so we strolled around on our own for a while, but the manager and regular tour guide, who were also a very approachable and knowledgeable person, asked if we would like to take in some archery while we waited. Both the wife and I agreed and enjoyed playing the two guys in a game of closest to the bullseye. It was a great way to end the afternoon and gain some cultural experience with some very friendly locals. I highly recommend coming for a leisurely afternoon!.

You may visit this organic farm if you are reserved at Sheridan Resort or via the package tour from Look with Hundred Caves. After a 30 minute caving excursion at Barangay Tagabinet Hundred Caves, we arrived after 12 p.m. and were told that they had not been informed that they had visitors on that day and that there was no lunch buffet. We were hungry and exhausted, but we were also really pressed for time, so we had to go back to the city before rp. Fortunately, they were able to coordinate with the resort to hold us for the lunch buffet there instead of on the farm. While awaiting their coordination, the farm manager showed us around for a brief tour. It was my first time seeing organic black rice. Additionally, they had fruit trees, horses, chickens, ducks, geese, pigeons, turkeys, and ostriches. He also showed us how they do organic composting using African night crawler worms. Our friend wanted to try archery, but I don't remember if it costs php 200 or 400 for 10 arrows. A quiet, soothing environment, especially with the swings under the tree. The quick tour took 30 minutes before we hopped back on the van and drove to Sheridan Resort for our lunch.

I strongly recommend visiting the resort for a relaxing afternoon. Take the opportunity to visit this farm if you're looking to escape from the resort for a nice relaxing walk with an added local culture, insight into local farming and a small animal one on one. It was delicious and authentic, plus the view of the countryside! Due to our late ride back to the resort, we strolled around on our own, but after we waited, the manager and a regular tour guide, who both had a very welcoming and knowledgeable personality, asked if we wanted to take some archery. The wife and I agreed, and we had a great time playing games of closest to the bullseye with the two men. It was a great way to end the afternoon and gain some cultural experience with some very friendly locals.
