Ce petit hôtel est magnifique. Nous aurions pu planifier une nuit additionnelle juste pour être plus longtemps à cet endroit. La qualité du lit et de la literie étaient excellentes. La vue du Douro et des vignes tout autour est splendide !! Le souper extérieur préparé par l’hôtel était délicieux. Tout le personnel est dédié pour nous donner un séjour parfait.

An absolute delight. Beautiful, historic, modern, delicious, friendly, intimate, relaxing; I could go on. Breakfast great, wine fantastic, dinner convenient and fun, pool with an indescribably breathtaking view. We watched the cook bring the lettuce from the garden and the grapes are grown right there. A bit more difficult than we expected to go places without a car, but was a fun adventure to walk. We showed up with no plans and Maria set up all our tastings and tours. Make sure to ask the family’s story.

A fantastic place. The view, the food, the pool, the rooms - everything lived up to our expectations. The owners and workers were also really nice. We loved it and absolutely recommend it to everyone.

We had a beautiful stay. Maria was so friendly and helpful and the property was beautiful. We had dinner and wine onsite the first night, and I also really enjoyed morning coffee and pastries on the terrace of our room. We stayed 2 nights, and I wish it were 3!

Room was emasculate. Vaulted ceilings and clean decor. Felt larger than it really was because of a separate cozy patio space. Th view outside was one of a kind. Though it was not warm enough for a swim, the outdoor pool was clean and inviting. Staff and owner are warm and accommodating. Provided special meal for my sick partner.

This was the most incredible find!!! Casa do Santo is located on a gorgeous and historic property. The building and room were totally gorgeous and the family that runs this hotel are lovely. We had dinner and breakfast onsite and the meals were delicious and oh so homey! We visited during the off season which was already stunning but we plan to be back some future late summer when the vineyards are full!
