We had a beautiful stay. Maria was so friendly and helpful and the property was beautiful. We had dinner and wine onsite the first night, and I also really enjoyed morning coffee and pastries on the terrace of our room. We stayed 2 nights, and I wish it were 3!

Room was emasculate. Vaulted ceilings and clean decor. Felt larger than it really was because of a separate cozy patio space. Th view outside was one of a kind. Though it was not warm enough for a swim, the outdoor pool was clean and inviting. Staff and owner are warm and accommodating. Provided special meal for my sick partner.

This was the most incredible find!!! Casa do Santo is located on a gorgeous and historic property. The building and room were totally gorgeous and the family that runs this hotel are lovely. We had dinner and breakfast onsite and the meals were delicious and oh so homey! We visited during the off season which was already stunning but we plan to be back some future late summer when the vineyards are full!

Très bel hébergement avec une vue sur le vignoble dans un secteur tranquille. Les chambres sont grandes et confortable, bien insonorisé. Le personnel est très sympathique. Nous avons pris le souper sur place, c’était excellent. Et nous avons été surclassé. Je recommande fortement.

This was one of the most exceptional stays I’ve ever had (including five star hotels). Casa do Santo is a truly hidden gem and I’m lucky we got to experience it before it grows in popularity. Maria and the staff are so attentive, helpful and welcoming, and Barco (the property dog) is an added bonus! If you’re looking to stay in the Douro valley in a cute, quaint town and want something relaxing and stunning, I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Nous avons été reçu très bien. Excellent endroit, personnel affable, disponible et discret. S'il y a difficultés, la Direction de l'établissement prend action rapidement. Calme et que dire de la vue... OUFF !! Cet endroit est un véritable bijou. Je dois dire que c'est tout simplement parfait comme lieu.
