This is a lovely property, surrounded by banana trees and amazing views down the hillside to the ocean. The perfect spot to relax in peace and quite away from the main city while still being super convenient to explore all there is on the island. The staff were very friendly and served amazing breakfast outside every morning.

Cette maison rénovée dans le style madeirien est splendide et très moderne. Elle offre tous les services d'un hôtel 5 étoiles dans une ambiance plus intimiste. L'accès est difficile à trouver et se fait uniquement par le haut du chemin qui est très pentu, étroit et typique de l'île. Nous avons prolongé d'une nuit tellement nous y étions bien. Roberto le gérant est adorable et parle bien français. Le spa chauffé est indispensable après les longues randonnées. NOUS RECOMMANDONS VIVEMENT CE LIEU que nous avons quitté avec regret.

Id like to express my gratitude to the Quinoa da Salvation team! First, I cannot suggest quinoa da salvation highly enough. Its about service, cleanliness, location, views, breakfast, and decor. Now, about the details. The quinoa is a gorgeous old colonialbuilt family home that has been tastefully restored to create a pleasant, small, familyrun 13 bedroom lodging for vacationing visitors. The quinoa is on a hill over the wonderful fishing town of Camera de Lobos and is a 15minute drive from the major capital funeral. The island of Madeira is so lovely and has so many attractions, you should have a vehicle to see as much as you can, in my opinion. And the quinoa is exquisitely placed relatively high up to provide stunning sea views, but getting around without a car is quite an effort. The accommodations are all very distinct, so there is something to suit most budgets. For the initial 7 days, we chose the stunning direct seaview balcony with a balcony and moved to the lower priced side view balcony room for the final 3 nights of our 10-day visit. It was refreshing to have a different perspective and an elevation that meant we could also benefit from the morning sun those last 3 days. In May, I spent a week at the quinoa and was content. The room had two balconies with wonderful views and a huge, comfy bed. There is a lot of breakfast, including delicious breads, meats, cheeses, fruit, juices, and cooked mushrooms, bacon, and eggs if required. They went above and above to accommodate us when we requested tea and coffee in the room, but it's truly the view that's wonderful. To watch the valley light up in the evenings is something to behold. It was too chilly to utilize the pool, but I can imagine it's very inviting in the warmer weather, and it's simple to get to the island's attractions. Within walking distance are several excellent restaurants, including O Pass and O Phelia, and of course, Camera de Lobos, which have charming harbor restaurants, as well as two excellent places to have cake and coffee near the church.

This was our first trip to Madeira and we adored it! Quinoa da saliva is one of the main reasons for that. This is a lovely, clean, well-maintained property with all the amenities and the most delicious, freshly prepared breakfast you could eat, but roberto and celia really elevated this cozy, unique, boutique experience with their 5 star hospitality and professionalism. We truly believe them to be the best in the business and will come back to quinoa da saliva soon to visit our new friends.

The quinoa da saliva is a beautiful small boutique hotel with great views of the Camera de Lobos. I would have liked to stay longer, but it was only a short stop. My room was pretty small but lovely, with the most comfortable bed I'd slept in for a long time. The staff is really friendly and helpful. There is a bar in the lobby that operates on an honest basis when it's unoccupied. The pool and jacuzzi, which overlooks the town below, are great. The gardens of the hotel are enjoyable to explore because they are growing lots, and you're encouraged to cook bananas for yourself. Breakfast consisted of cold platters of various meats, cheeses, salad, fruit, bread, pastries, tea, coffee, and juices. Eggs are also available. Personally, Id have preferred some muesli and yogurt and more hot options, but it was very nice and well-presented. There are several things that the hotel prevents you from drinking water and offers expensive bottled water, despite the fact that it was given to me free of charge when I requested water at breakfast. So you might want to pack your own. If you're driving, the road to the hotel from a busy roundabout is crazy. Be ready.. Just to avoid driving out, I almost extended my stay! The hotel is a bit far

This hotel has excellent facilities and is in a great location. The staffs were very welcoming and kind. They have a nice room with comfy beds, a kitchenette, a nice bathroom, and every day is clean. A balcony with a beautiful view. Everything is in perfect working order here. Very highly recommended.

Personalen var fantastisk. Frukosten mycket bra. Rummet var rent och rymligt men hade en lite instängd doft. Trång nerfart till parkeringen. Långt ifrån restauranger med branta trappor. Vi badade jacuzzin som behöver rengöras och byta vatten.

Vorteile: direkt an der Autobahn Schöne Sicht vom Pool über das bewohnte Tal frische Eier sauberes Zimmer Wasserkocher im Zimmer alles fest in deutscher Hand Nachteile: - sehr enge und steile Einfahrt, nur für Profifahrer - schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis - sehr unfreundlicher Rezeptionist - umständliche Bedingung beim Frühstück (geringe Menge Essen, man muss immer nachbestellen) - Internetauftritt entspricht nicht der Realität - Autobahngeräusch - Starkstromleitung über das Grundstück - keine Möglichkeit für Essen in der Nähe (nähstes Lokal in 18 Minuten zu Fuß berghoch- und runter) - kein Fliegengitter und kein Mückenschutz - kein regionales Obst beim Frühstück - ein frischgepresster Saft beim Frühstück kostet extra - überwiegend industrielles Brot und Gebäck - einige Zimmer nur über Treppe zu erreichen, d.h. Koffer muss getragen werden - Ansprechperson an der Rezeption nur teilweise vor Ort
