We loved our stay at Vila Duparchy! We felt like family coming home for a visit, rather than hotel guests! The Manor House garden and grounds were exquisite, and the breakfast was so good!

In July 2009, we stayed at Villa Duparchy. It's a peaceful place with a great pool. The owner is very friendly and gives great advice on restaurants and places to visit. The rooms were clean and in the style of old Portuguese houses. Exactly what we wanted. The bathroom was large. Breakfast is simple but everything is fresh and made with love. In short, the price performance relationship is excellent. I will definitely return when I'm in the area.

Lovely huge villa in a great area of Portugal. The villa itself is old and a bit tired but that adds to its charm. We loved walking around the huge gardens and picking fresh fruit off the trees. Luso is fantastic town with some of the best restaurants ever. We loved filling up our water bottles from the spring in town too. Great experience!

This lovely place is not five stars and not worth the price. We stayed in various locations across the globe and we have experienced many things. Oscar and Maria are excellent hosts and owners and the facilities date from the late 1800 s. We had a great experience, and every detail was carefully taken care of. If you like a calm, extremely homey atmosphere, we heartily suggest Villa Duparchy to anyone.

At the conclusion of a brief winter trip to Portugal, we just had a night in love and made a decision to stay at Villa Duparchy because of a relative recommendation. It is a lovely, regal looking old pink villa situated in a tranquil, arid, mature yard next to the main road and behind a high wall. We were met at the door by the owner, who made a warm welcome and cared for our comfort by adding an extra radiator to the room as soon as we inquired about the chilly weather. The villas extensive bathroom was clean, comfortable, and extremely spacious, and along with the rest of the property, there was lovely antique furnishings and chandeliers. The garden swimming pool was nice for summer, and our gracious host was glad to suggest local restaurants and touring the lovely historic palace at Bussaco. The breakfast was excellent, with cold meat, cheese, fresh bread, fruit, yogurt, and the required coffee refills. For the charming hospitality and tranquil quaint country house atmosphere, I would not hesitate to suggest it.

We had a great time staying here. It was a really peaceful and relaxing place. The room has old-fashioned furniture, which is just like the old days but comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The swimming pool is also available. We can recommend this place to our best friend. Close to Boka Forest and not far from Cobra.

We did not know what to look for because we were driving up a slick driveway. We found a charming old-style country house, complete with gardens, vegetable plots, a pool, and the most lovely bedrooms you can imagine. Our hosts were a lovely couple and recommended some fantastic restaurants in the city. They even offered to drop us off here if we didn't want to walk 700 meters. Breakfast was delicious eggs, poached to perfection, the typical continental breakfast, and home-made bread and jam. We stayed here for a second night because we adored it.

Big room in a quiet old manor/estate. A bit hard to find, google did okay however the entrance was not signed very well. Stairs to room, good breakfast and quiet area. Grounds are dated but the house is clean and spacious. Host was helpful offering maps of the area and ideas for restaurants.

Hotel sur le declin dommage!! le propriétaire tres agréable fait tout ce quil peut mais une bonne rénovation serait bienvenue. Petit déjeuner correct.
