I stayed at Villa Maria and had a wonderful time. This madeira location is beautiful. The apartment was very neat with all we needed. Plus, the Housekeeping Officer was always a friendly and helpful employee. Plus, she helped me with every question. I appreciate everything that Villa Maria did to make our stay so enjoyable.

We remained here for 10 nights. It is in a 15-minute bus ride from the center of funeral and away from the noise of large hotels, bars, and restaurants. The complex is composed of 8 apartments with their own private terrace. The furniture is a little old, but the place is completely pristine. When we were there, it was my birthday and to my surprise, a free bottle of Madeira wine was on the table with a lovely little note from the owners. A truly lovely and personal touch.

We have now traveled to Madeira several times since we genuinely enjoy the location, people, and cuisine. Having stayed in a variety of locations, including 3 to 5 hotels that self-categorize for allinclusive, we've stayed in several different locations, including three or five. I hope this review isn't too lengthy, but I like to know as much as I can about the establishment I'm staying in, so here goes. We booked through application because I had read reviews on other places about people who had this issue when we arrived, but there was no need to worry. Helene met us when we arrived, where we were shown to our apartment, which was completely immaculate. We were very fortunate that the sun was on our patio for most of the day, so we simply moved around in the afternoon to make the most of the sun. Out the back door is a very small garden with a clothes fairer glued to the wall, which was great for drying our clothes. Everything else appeared as stated in previous reviews, but I will add that yes there are many dogs in the region, they do bark because they are kept outside, which can be frustrating, but even when we stayed at the Estan palms, we had dogs barking all night. Although I don't know what polish was used on the floor, it turned our socks orange, but it did diminish

Besides that, the location is also near the futon stadium and a short ride from downtown. But, there aren't any issues with this place at all, the dogs bark very frequently at night. So, bring earplugs.

I and my husband spent 9 wonderful days there. The apartment has everything for comfortable living, and we also cooked a few times because we are not too fans of eating at restaurants every day. We were afraid there will be no cooking equipment, but we were glad we did not miss everything. There was a lot of thought in the apartment, and someone was very intelligent and put everything people might need. The Maid teresa is a true angel on earth, as is her owner Helena. During our stay there, it was a football match where Ronald played. We had a fantastic view of the match from the parking lot in front of our house. But teresa and helena warned us to go home a few hours before the match, otherwise we couldnt park. People from madeira said there were all free places in the vicinity of the stadium. The WiFi worked very fast. We went to town on foot. Its really uphill out of reach. But it did not harm us. On foot, we also went to Lido restaurants, which are not too far away. We traveled to the store constantly by car. We would be dead without navigation in our car. The apartment was very clean, the towels were soft, and I slept well in that bed. In reality, Ill go back to Villas
